Fixin' Eve

Innate: Eve can now be spotted by Stealth Wards in the same fashion that she's spotted by enemy champions. Eve gets a (!) above her head to let her know that she's been spotted ala Chickebuff. Sweeper that ward and clear it, then come back to gank a minute later!

Q: Now applies OnHit effects to the first enemy unity hit. Projectile speed nerfs removed and Hate Spike is now a ground-targeted spell rather than an auto-spam spell. You have to actually aim the thing, but it gets its speed back. Now provides passive lifesteal to Eve because she's supposed to be a vampire-succubus thing, right? That should take care of her Jungle sustain issues.

W: Now steals stacking flat armor and magic resist from foes hit by Eve's spells and basic attacks.

E: Deals magic damage again, still applies OnHit effects.

R: Now deals flat damage rather than %HP.

Eve is going to be weak till they can rework her. As it stands she really doesn't have an identity. Her Q says short range mage with some chase potential. Her W says anti-cc assassin, for weaving through fights. Her E says melee bruiser. and her Ult says Tanky initiator. The fact is that she is thematically represented worse than Yoric. She will probably never be "good" until her rework.

I think this is fair, kinda like Eve's best possible buff scenario.

Honestly Riot should have done this as soon as they changed the vision system instead of just totally destroying her.

What would be the point?

She already gets spotted if she's close to you, if she were spotted by wards, then her stealth would literally be NOT STEALTH, while every other champion with stealth would have better stealth.

If you don't want her to have stealth, then petition for the stealth champion to be a nonstealth champion.

Why would she be spotted by wards when stealthed, but someone like twitch, who has activated stealth, would not be spotted by wards while stealthed?

There are better ideas for how to fix her up.

Because Twitch doesn't have Stealth. Twitch has Invisibility. Eve is the only Stealth champion.

Normal wards would use the same detect range that champions have rather than the giant detect range Vision Wards have. This would allow Eve to skirt around common ward locations if she thought there was a ward there. And even if there is a ward there, she can just Sweeper the thing, kill it, go clear a camp, and then come back to gank.

I seriously don't think you're considering how powerful the ability to passively detect stealth wards would be.

No, they are both classified as stealth, which is why pink wards work on the both of them.

Where you around when Eve was originally remade?

Riot explained the different between Stealth and Invisibility. One gets revealed by standing too close to a champion and the other doesn't. Both get revealed by True Sight.

If they ever get around to reworking her. I know some folks are working on a VU on her, but as far as I know there isn't any real direction on it just yet. That may end up coming paired with a GU! Who knows? I sure don't.

The kit I've suggested here is designed to be flexible, just like Eve was when she was first made. You could go AP Assassin with Nashor/Lich. You could go AD Assassin with BotRK/Hydra. You could go Trinity/Tanky. You could go Mura/Tanky. Lots of options, because Eve is mysterious and you should never know what she's going to be doing.
