I'v said before how I LOVE Yorick, I think he is so much damn fun to play. But now, I not only have the pentakill Yorick skin, but I am also level 5 champion mastery with him! I am legit curious if anybody else out there, ever, is as big of a Yorick fan as I am to do both these things like I did.

EDIT: HOLY FREAKING COW SAUCE, I go to bed and when I come back this post has certainly gotten discovered by more overnight! Thanks for all the Yorick <3 and conversation that ended up going on here~ I'll try to respond more, but the "show more" button at the bottom won't work on my end when I press it the second time it shows up. Yorick is actually pretty fun, the biggest issue with him is just how incredibly anti-fun he is in laning phase for his opponent. So he's not really... Allowed to be good. It's like Nunu, but somehow more psychologically damaging.

"psychologically damaging" is definitely the best way to describe laning against a yorick. Like it actually just makes you want to die.

funny because my friend mains top, and when we see a yorick I beg him to swap lanes with me so I can play vs them. I absolutely LOVE Laning vs a Yorick. It is just the greatest thing ever. Morgana Nasus Diana :)

Nice edit XD and yeah I do like laning vs him because I play mostly morgana mid/top who just wrecks Yorick's life, and then I win late too. If we see the Yorick before we have locked me into morg, then I will take Nasus or Diana into him. Nasus gets to play with the ghouls as s(N/T)acks and Diana just waits till 6 to repeatedly murder Yorick (ghouls are an easy way to manipulate Diana's passive) Also an excuse to rush item 3146 on Diana, which I like doing but normally isnt optimal at all.

I just bought Shen and I want to know, how good is he vs yorick right now? Cause I know he destroys everything anyway, but does yorick do anything to him?

Shen can survive the lane, but Yorick is gonna bully him a bit so Shen has to be careful around lv4-9. Shen however is going to be way better team wise, and late game can actually fight yorick 1 on 1, which is something to be pretty proud of.

Definitely want to go Sunfire Cape and/or Titanic just to deal with the ghouls and yorick shoving him hard so you can get off a good play with ult/tp without sacrificing much.

The best part about Yorick is he counters teemo SO HARD, cuz he can take out Teemo shrooms with Yorick w with no risk or damage whatsoever. Its awesome!

not sure if you care but, Yorick is an absolute nightmare for Fiora to deal with. Fiora has a very brief window of opportunity to get ahead of him otherwise he is just going to steam roll her. If you put in the games to get used to Yorick and can make him work for you, it is a hell of a counter matchup.

I know, and that makes me sed. ;-; I reached champ mastery level 4 with old poppy, but I suck arse with new poppy. So whenever I play poppy now people see my emblem and think I'm gonna be good at poppy. I hope that the new Yorick, when it comes anyway, will suit my playstyle a bit, maybe even be something I would consider an improvement. But for now, I'ma head to top lane with ma pentakill Yorick and show my laner what I'v got!

Well you are not the only Yorick player with Lv 5 Mastery. . . I have mine with more than a few (hundred) games worth of experience more as well.

OMG YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES, I HAVE FOUND SOMEONE WHO SHARES MY PASSION!!!!!!!!!!

In all honesty I feel like I'v been playing Yorick so much that I'm getting all of his techniques and such down, and purely from experience. I can now cs with him better than most other champs I play, I know when to poke and when to fully engage in lane, I know when to ult in which situations and who to ult in the first place, I always build situationally with em, and overall I feel much more one to one or "we are as one" sort of a sense with me and Yorick than I do with any other champ in the game. Still though, I honestly suck at this game, so I do poorly alot of the time. xD But whenever I win lane, things go really well, and whenever I get fed, then I become an unstoppable machine, until I get cocky and towerdive anyway. xD

This is amazing, two Yorick fans brought together by chance. This is fate, it must be.

Please give me Yorick tips. I started playing him a lot at lvl 28-29 and did pretty good, but I can never do anything with him in ranked. I want to be able to play him in ranked though because he is very fun.

Sorry, but I don't play TOO much ranked, and I'v never played Yorick in ranked at all. My advice is to just keep practicing until you have all his best uses and patterns down. I'v played Yorick so dang much I feel me and the champ have become one, though lack of play with him could very well make me lose that status with the guy. Practice is whats best, for any champion. But dun try em in ranked until you are very confident in your abilities with that champion. One bit of advice. If your team has a fed AD user, ult that person more often, as then the ghoul you spawn will have more AD to fight with. Ult someone who is at like 30-55% hp, that way you can allow the ghoul to attack, but the ally whom has been ulted will still die soon enough to get the revive.
