Picking up Riven?

So I think I've become pretty proficient at playing my main, Ekko. I also have Aurelion Sol for when I need a mage who's more reliable with damage and CC (more reliable CC, anyway), Rumble for when I need a jungler, and Poppy when we need a tank. I also have Ahri for when I want more mobility.

But recently, I realized that I don't have any AD picks for if I'm in a team comp with little AD. When I thought about it, I realized that there aren't many AD characters who:

1. Aren't perma banned.
2. Have a high skill cap and will keep me entertained playing them.
3. Have a personality and voice that I like.

As we all know, AD, "high skill cap", champions aren't really the most liked champions in League, so they are typically banned. I won't even bother thinking about picking up Zed, Yasuo, and Fiora. Characters like Jax, Xin Zhao, and Darius don't appeal to me, as they are much easier than other champions. The personality and voice thing doesn't matter too much, but it does make me like a champion a lot more.

And then Riven popped into my mind. She's a fairly high skill cap champion, she isn't perma banned, and she is very versatile. I don't really know what her voice, personality, story, and stuff are, but they can't be too bad. What do you guys think about her? Also, I know most Riven players are stereo typed as toxic, but I'm pretty encouraging to my teammates, and try to help people who are falling behind when playing. And I've met plenty of really nice Riven mains.

So in the end, I want to know is Riven a good choice for an AD champion?

TL;DR: I need a high skill cap, not perma banned AD champion. Is Riven a good choice?
