So you are thinking about what you want to main in League...
Ever wondered where you belong or if your main role really suits you? Do you want to find out what you would be best at?
We will go through the various lanes, and see which roles fit in that lane and look at what kind of people they are.
Top Lane: AKA The Island Are you tired of boring PvP with constant grinding? Do you want fun strategic gameplay with teamwork and cooperation? Do you want to be the highlight of a game, while working as a machine with your team? Are you ready to be recognized as the fast reflexive person you are?
If you answered Yes to any of these questions, then please feel free to leave this section now. Top lane is not an oasis as videos would have you believe, it's really more of a deserted island where YOU are the one resident. The other laner always seems to have the advantage because of better ping, lower summoner cooldowns, RNGesus, etc. And let's not forget that damn Vi is CONSTANTLY GANKING YOU. You aren't even sure if your jungler is in the game.
So what is your job as a top laner? Well there are different objectives to becoming a top laner.
- Splitpush, you aren't getting any help up there, why should you offer your help to them? Solo push to the nexus and become a true hero!
2. Become UNKILLABLE. It's basically known that the top lane is either tanky, or complete anti-tank. Now most of the time the antitank doesn't work, so we mostly see tanky people up there. Your team needs the peel, so build everything under the defense tab you can. - Go anti-tank, make sure you buy these items

So what kind of personalities do we see here?
**The gentle giants: ** These are the people who literally farm all game, just so they can be peels for the main damagers on the team. Their whole purpose is to lockdown the enemy, while the rest of the team takes all the glory! Kinda sounds like supports but on a grander scale. These people are usually nice and kindhearted, laying down their shirt so that you can cross in the mud.
Riven players:: Now these guys aren't limited to just playing Riven, or even Top lane. You can see these guys mid or even bot, they like to play high skill champs that have high risks and high rewards such as
...
...
.... Oh god who am I kidding lmao. "High skill". GG rito.
I am muting everyone, i'm not leaving top lane, don't tell me how to build Jax: These folks are more prominent in lower, low skilled elos such as Platinum. They will literally not step foot out of top, and will farm all the minions so that it is easier to push other lanes as a team. They watched a Foxdrop video about how to become better at league, and decided CS was the main factor deciding if you were promoted in leagues or not. Sadly this strategy actually carries teams because map awareness is something only found in the spanish-english dictionary in Bronze/Silver.
Mid Lane: AKA LoL board's hate-generator The true kill or be killed lane, you come here and either surprise your team with LCS mechanics and leadership skills, or you feed as PROJECT: Yasuo, and afk 12 minutes into the game. This lane is like all Vayne players slapped with magic or mobility and put in the middle of the map, to fight to the death. This lane is usually camped by both junglers, not because it is easy, but because the Mid laner is always whining about how every death is the jungler's fault.
So what kind of roles are welcomed here in the Mid Lane?
Mage Ah so you are interested in the magical power-hungry destructive forces that we call, "mages"? Well there are a few thing that you need to know before you begin.
- Assassins are OP
- Malzahar is for noobs
- Veigar is OP
- You are the carry don't listen to the rest of the team
- It's the tank's fault.
- I only missed that skillshot because of lag. 40ms ping gg riot servers.
Assassins You gotta feel bad for these guys, things just go from bad to worse with them. They were in the meta late season 4 and early season 5 before tanks started pubstomping everyone. While they were in the spotlight, they received more hate than any other group of champions in the game. Assassins are deisgned to be anti-carries, they keep the ADC and APC in check while killing them if they step out of position. This seems pretty balanced until they actually preform this act.
"WTF riot how come I can't 1v1 this talon as an ADC, I almost have no chance to react! shouldn't I be able to counterplay him without buying any of the given anti-assassin items? I don't want to waste gold, cmon!"
This is what you will deal with, so prepare for psychological disturbances as you main this class. Now what should you expect as an assassin from YOUR team?
Here is this scenario.
ENEMY DOUBLE KILL
SHUT DOWN
(All) Lucian: WTF OP champion, gg riot. Thresh: Gj, zed.
AN ENEMY HAS SLAIN
Vayne: WTF ZED WHY DIDNT YOU KILL GANKPLANK YOU FUCKING NOOB. UNINSTALL. Zed: I only have my QWE now, I can't kill anyone without them being low! Vayne: BULLSHIT YOU ARE AN ASSASSIN! (All) Thresh: Report Zed.

Bot Lane: AKA the only lane that needs to be fed
Well this is relatively simple. This lane consists of a usual 2v2 between a support, and a sustained damage ranged AD carry. Their job is to get alot of farm, kill the enemy if possible, and secure dragons.
Support's Point of View
Fuck my ADC, always feeds. I have such good mechanics, can't ever get my ADC fed because they don't know when to attack. 12 CS, 10 minutes in the game. Really? Great I get one CS because I landed a hook on a minion and my ADC goes AFK.
ADC's point of view
Fuck my support, always feeds. I have such good mechanics? Why cant my support land a god damn hook when I initiate? 12 CS, 10 minutes into the game? My support stole it all. Great, my support stole another CS and won't ward the fucking jungle, i'm going AFK.
Junglers
Pick these champs:

If they get banned, Dodge. GG
