You know the one, where even if you stop the ult or cleanse the suppress those 5 hits go through no matter what? Kinda BS when you Azir ult him the second he ults you but still lose 3/4 of your health due to the hits going through

Nether Grasp's suppression and tethered damage effects are separate. If the suppression is removed, Nether Grasp will continue to deal damage unless the channel is interrupted or the tether is broken by moving away.
Skarner doesn't deal the damage at the end if you clear the CC, but I think in that case it also breaks his channel and allows him to cast other abilities.
Tik1151 votesHeres the thing though, Malz ults he is not standing right next to you and clawing you to bits he is fireing a beam (eye beam? mouth beam?) which makes sense but WW hitting once before being knocked back while his target gets hit another 4 times DOESN'T make sense.
Also if Malz gets disrupted his damage on his ult stops, If WW gets disrupted the 5 hits go through regardless
this is less about QSS or Cleanse and more "I just condemed him into a wall why is his ult still dealing damage?"

Correct me if im wrong but cant skarner still cast spells during his ult?
Matthias91192 votesI don't own him, and it's been a while since I tried him on a free week. But I'm 99% sure he can't do anything but move while his ult is active. AFAIK all the suppression abilities prevent you from doing anything else for the duration.

Just looked it up, you're absolutely correct. Played a few games as him in the past few days (sated devourer on him is nasty) and it felt like i was able to, guess I was wrong, could have sworn i did though... oh well lol
Matthias91191 votesI'm pretty sure that all the supression ults work like that -- if you break the CC on your end with QSS, the damage still goes through (and the ulting champ is still stuck in their cast).
The damage should stop if you CC the ulting champion out of it, though.
