But...... caution..... Illaoi has her games where she feeds/just can't carry a bad team, and Ornn has his inherent problems now that he doesn't have a shield
The reason I brought up Ornn, is because I am arguably outside my elo playing him. I mastery 7'd the initial champ in 2 days on 3 different accounts. Even when he was a 39% champ.
My reasoning for bringing him into the discussion is this:
Even though right now people view his laning phase as challenging, his mid/long game are not. They've overbuffed his starting armor/armor growth to where he doesn't need his shield, except vs SOME True damage dealers. The level 13 power spike is godly as well if you got 2 20% CDR items. They also buffed his HP regen so now he's one of the best life regening champions in the game. Get a 
, and he just recovers all his life by walking halfway across the map.
His impact on the entire game is still right up there with others like Darius or Garen. People just need to learn to play him.
I know is a choice that sounds wierd, but it's actually really scary.
Her poke is not just her spells (If you burn mana you might lose lane). You can outrange almost every single top laner with Zyra's Auto attacks, and save your skills for if they get sick of it and try to counterattack. That's not a luxury most champions have. And, if your turret is pushed up too much, you can unleash 1 combo and clear the oppressive wave without issue. Also a problem a lot of top laners have.
She's also one of the best 1v2 champions in the game, if you manage her mana. If a duo try to dive you, and you still have flash, they both are going to die, and you might not.
Most importantly, she dominates the meta champs: 
If you're worried about playing Zyra with a Jax, just ban Jax, and you substantially reduce your threatening opponents.
What I pick usually just depends on what slot in the selection roster I'm in.
-If I'm first pick, I usually Zyra. No on suspects Zyra as a top, so generally they plan their game around her being a support.
-If I'm second or third, I pick the others dependent on what they pick. If they pick a Jax, or some other duelist top like Tryndamere, pick Illaoi.
-If I have a team that looks like it's going to build Death Caps or assassinate well, I go Ornn. I don't care about my opponent. I care that I can "exist" and level.
are really good to dominate with, mainly because nobody knows how to play against them, but I've also heard that

are pretty good as well. So who do you think, whether they are traditional top laners or not, would absolutely dominate low elo?
