So which ADC is best to learn now with the new crit changes?

So I wanna start learning ADC as a backup to top lane, but I'm not entirely sure which ones to play. I've tried Lucian a couple times and I like him, but are there any others I should look to learn, especially with the new crit changes? Also a quick summary of how to play ADC would help.

Caitlyn isn't the best on low elos and she's harder to play properly than other crit adcs as Tristana or Jinx but once you get a decent level of her she can be extremly abusive.

She's for sure worth to learn.

If you are against a team with a lot of squishy champs, then Jhin might be a good choice. With DH he can burst a lot of squishies down very easily, but he struggles very hard against tanks and very tanky opponents. His w is pretty hard to use without your team CCing the target first (like a stun instead of trying to root a slowed or not CCed champ).

Idk how good she is with the crit update, but if you are top than Quinn might be a good choice. She is really good in melee matchups, but some melee champs like rumble fuck her up hard. Quinn’s roam power at lvl 6 is really good, so you can get a lead before lvl 6 in your lane then run around while your jungler holds top so you can quickly give your teammates a lead.

Upvoted for the the Quinn comment. I play Quinn, I feel it is a good way to learn some ADC stuff, especially late game team fighting. While Quinn is a good split pusher, if you want to learn ADC play her in team fights first. It is a lot of weaving in and out of team fights to get kills, and knowing ranges. Also, she has really good early game by going item 3142 into Crit with item 3031 first.

I actually started on Ashe, fed a lot in bot, then went top with Quinn for a while when she was at her peak with stormrazor, electrocute and ignite. Then I went bot with Jhin for a little bit.

I usually rush stormrazor then get statikk shiv then I would go either IE or Duskblade

you might want to wait just a bit before asking. patch was only just released, so a current meta for botlane hasnt exactly set in just yet. give it a few days.

Jinx is a decently easy cirt adc to pick up

I recommend practicing on Ashe first

item 3153 item 3085 item 3508 item 3046 are all good on her

If not Ashe then Caitlyn

They have a lot auto range and are good at playing safe to survive if the match up is hard

On that note, they can also be used aggressively in lane because of their range. Ashe can easily turn a favorable trade into an all-in if the enemy exhausts their abilities.
