What is his current progress? I'm a huge yorick fan, and I really want to know how he's doing, and even IF he's still being worked on, and by who, the last we've heard of him really is 2013 area. And what's the direction he's heading in?
Ordidnac3 votesI've been playing him alot latley and he actualy does pretty well at harassing and farming against many champions due to the sustain BUT what i've been having a great time with is using him in the jungle. If you time your ghouls you can make it through the entire jungle with only a single health pot. You will also have full health and can begin ganking immediately. I usually buy a mana pot to start. He has a slow and decent burst damage early.

Hah, try saying that now. This new season I was like, "Hey, who haven't I played in a long time?" and then I was like...Yorick! I totally forgot he was even part of the game. I feel like that's the worst thing you could say about a champion.
Took him top in a couple of games, did pretty awful. The mana costs totally kill any sort of ability to harass/sustain in lane. Even with a tear you need to be constantly popping pots to even stay in lane. He's really not in a good place. I don't want to see release Yorick return, but he definitely needs some TLC.
A little Peepo2 votesI read a rioter talking about his new kit and what changes they were looking into but I can't remember where or who. If I remember correctly they made all his abilities into ghouls, including his ultimate, but I don't remember exactly. All they said was that he wasn't going to see any light until late 2015 or early 2016 xD

I mean we have lots of champs that are horrible nightmares to lane against like Darius if you're melee and Ryze before the q nerfs, but they've never deemed them bad enough to take off of free rotation. Playing as Yorick, mana is always such a hard thing early game, especially after the mana changes, that if you do spam your abilities to bully your enemy, you're likely going oom really fast.

TeemoJenkins1 votesYesterday in champ select I first picked Garen.... the opposing top laner picked Yorick and I was LIKE OMFG NO HE'LL KILL ME.... then he switched to Nasus which triggered a Super Villain Laugh from me... Guess who won that lane and game? Not Yorick or the Dog face boy...

What Is Smite1 votesI used Yorick today in a ranked game vs Fiddlestick top lane, made the dude pretty useless by freezing lane in front of my tower and since I knew that I didn't need to all-in him to win lane I could just passively farm it while he loses out on gold and XP. Never used TP to get to lane since he couldn't push it fast enough to my tower, the only time I TP into bottom lane I kill the enemy ADC and we take bot outer tower. Though the game was pretty passive for me I ended 1/0/0 so it was worth it XD
WynterWarrior1 votesYorick is my main, love him! ♥ He's a GREAT (top) laner, dealing lots of damage. But you gotta be careful with him, better first focus on killing minions for money and then try to deal damage to the nearby enemy. You can't kill the enemy at once, but you should have patience with Yorick. When the enemy is weak, take out your best and quick, you've got yourself a kill now ;)
Yet, his mana will run up very quickly, make sure you don't waste too much for minions. Better don't waste any on them.
I just got Yorick a few weeks ago so I dont know if tehre are any changes, but I read at a forum that he has less good potions, but I think they're not even needed ;) However, I love this guy, highly recommended!
