Really tired of seeing Yasuo, here is why! ^_^

I know a lot of the time I come off as a total pessimistic dick on the forums, because I normally just use it to vent. But here I will be giving a descriptive reason and solutions to this problem I have. Please keep replies civil. Not in the mood to hear fan boys of this champion justifying wanting "ez" wins.

4/5 games I am in that he isn't banned, he is picked... Its making the game stale seeing the same crap ;\

Pros:

Free passive shield (which btw... scales with his level..) making trading next to impossible unless you directly counter him. Unlimited mobility as long as a minion wave is near by... 15%+ crit through runes alone, so nearly 50% by first back... Which makes his already strong laning even stronger. I was out traded and farmed as Renekton the mighty lane bully recently when I was using my abilities in the most optimal way until I decided "fuck this" and roamed to get fed. A wall that blocks ALL projectiles rendering any ranged without mobility completely useless, and if timed correctly can block VERY important moves and make late game team fights a nightmare for the other team. Nearly the highest base movement speed in the game on top of his E. All this is very strong all the way from level 1 to 18...

Cons:

If you happen to catch him out by hiding in a bush or something so he cant wind wall or something he dies fast, but only if CC'd.

Alongside Riven he is the most broken imbalanced champion in the game, hands down.

I've thought of possible fixes short of removing this fucker from the game that I really don't think would ruin him due to his outrageous kit. Maybe not all of these at the same time, but I feel like these would make him more bearable and not make people want to surrender or dodge every game they face him. I'm not saying do all these, but these could be considered.

A: A flat nerf to the shield's amount or the amount of walking required to activate it... B: Windwall only blocks X amount of damage, or X amount of projectiles instead of everything during its duration despite of how many projectiles hit it. C: The dash has a very short cool down of 0.75 seconds. D: Instead of 100% increase to crit, 50%... so that he doesn't have 85% after Shiv / Cloak of agility and 7.5% crit worth of runes.

The last one as far as the crit goes, makes him able to go in with no risk like most champs (on top of his shield and WW and mobility) of unlucky no crit fights. He WILL CRIT, NEARLY EVERY TIME! Which means you don't even have to gauge or judge how much you will do. YOU KNOW you will do a certain amount of damage.

The first time I EVER played Yasuo (which at the time I was somewhere between G3 and G1) I recall exactly my score was 18 / 5 / ? with 7 tower kills. The very first time. There is such a TINY skill gap for him, and he is a nearly no con / all pro pick. EVERY champion should have multiple major cons. He does not.

Anyway... Please consider at least some of this. He's been such a pain since the day he came out and changes need to happen to him already.

I went as high as P4 this season, and he was still prevalent. You can look at my history as proof should you want to dig. He was also a high pick at the end of last season in LCS and hasn't been changed at all since. The only major change I can think of are the new items you could integrate into his build based on situation. I would go into riven, but I think EVERYONE knows about that. Even a rioter commented on Riven in a forum I read a few weeks ago.

If you're losing to Yas as Renekton you're not a good Renekton lol. Renekton stomps Yasuo.

Also, all I see is Silver when looking for your rank. Where's P4?

A few months ago. Like June or so, like 300 games X_X

What that tells me is that somehow you got lucky and got placed a lot higher than what you deserved. Now after playing a lot of games, you're a lot closer to where your true rank is. Either that or your account is being used by more than one person. Plat 4 to Silver 4 is a huge difference.

You shouldn't be losing to Yasuo as Renekton. He would have to be considerably more skilled than you for that to happen, or maybe you just had a bad game. It happens to everyone.

You might not have been able to kill him, but he shouldn't be regularly out trading you.

I hate when people pick Yasuo on my team. He's a feast or famine champion that thrives in bronze to gold because it is such a blood bath. There is rarely a Yasuo that is in between. He's either 3/12 or 12/3. I can see why people in high ELO would dodge if someone picked Yasuo. Another reason I could see why he's not picked there is because he's so vulnerable from level 3 until he gets his shiv. That's a huge window to exploit, and it's made even easier if you're a lane bully like Renekton.

But none of this is constructive, its all asking "why are you silver now" and "you should have beat him as renek"... nothing constructive what so ever. I've seen dozens of posts about yasuo on this forum the past two weeks, and even more bans recently than in the past. So I know I'm not alone on this.

"I've seen dozens of posts about yasuo on this forum the past two weeks, and even more bans recently than in the past. So I know I'm not alone on this."

confirmation bias, also there are QQ threads about any champion with high mobility all the time because people hate it when their Garens get outplayed. Plat and above his ban rate has gone down.

It's also not constructive to use "omg i lost to a yasuo as renekton, therefore op" because that's not supposed to happen.

Not gunna lie, I FREAKIN' HATE Yas... :P

Guy needs a total tear down and re-work IMO. People try to tell me "He requires skill!", well he requires skill TO LEARN, once you understand how to play him, he's not difficult. Skilled Yas players can 1 v 1 pretty much any one and do it all day b/c he has no combat resource!

I've said In the past that I'd settle for Wind Wall blocking friendly projectiles as well as enemy to nerf his siege and team fight utility power, but it always gets down voted to oblivion... :P
