I genuinely feel sad and angry at riot over the loss of Twisted Treeline

This feels a lot like dominion all over again. Was it a SUPER popular mode? No not really. But people played it. Most people at the very least played 20+ games of ranked in it. The relaunch of Treeline in season 5 was very good, the game mode became popular. But of course riot let it die, Gee i wonder why this mode we havent touched for 4 years isnt doing well? hehe ecks deee. better remove it. Literally dominion 2.0 The worst part, if they just kept it. Put both in a pseudo blizzard client-esque thing they are creating. Do you know how much money they couldve made if they just spent time on it. I know summoner rift is their baby and with these new games coming up thats theirs to work on too. But it feels a lot like "Fuck the old playerbase here comes new people to enjoy the game"

Dominion was way better and then removed for no reason as well. It doesn't cost them anything to have the mode exist as an option.

Worst part is that Rift is the worst map and mode. It's a slow isolated slog where you have to pray 4 other people don't feed like crazy with no substantial power to impact the overall progress of the game until very late. I don't get why Doom Bots also didn't become a standard difficulty option, or why they somehow never made a higher difficulty AI in ever. They don't even add new champs to the AI roster, they just let a 10 year old version sit as-is.

Give people rewards like emotes for playing treeline and see popularity shoot up. First season tft offers nothing tangible I'm done playing it. Im surprised they were actually willing to say tft had huge numbers considering they offer incentive to play it ... Which shows because every game is people asking. 3v3 could have been used in competitive tie breakers even.real shame

Its hilarious how a game that is more popular than dota can't handle even the most small and paltry of added modes but dota somehow makes do with many.

They should AT LEAST make the rotating game mode constant.

I share your sentiment, but mostly because URF is gone, but yeah, I know what you mean, and I feel ya. Don't let it keep you down though, no point in giving Riot control over your emotions. Cheer up!
