Should Fiora be able to block Summoner Spells?

Fiora is currently able to block Summoner Spells, which is pretty brutal when it comes to Ignite and Exhaust. Aside from being incredibly strong it's also really hard to do. Since Summoner Spells are basically instant you have to predict the Summoner Spell, making it less of a matter of good reflexes and more about guessing well/"luck". As far as I know, no other ability in the game blocks Summoner Spells, not even spell shields.

Is this reasonable? Should Riposte block Summoner Spells?

That's not a factor that's usually determined by luck. There is very very little time to react and all the combat spells are instaneous with no telegraphing. If a Fiora riposted your ignite then that means that

  1. You got outplayed (are predicatable)
  2. She didn't use her riposte for your ult or an equally damaging spell
  3. You continued to blow everything on Fiora during her 0.75 seconds of invuln.

Riot already stated and even added tool tips that it does it. It's completely intentional.

A champion that can affect summoners... Ya that's a great idea. I don't care if it's an extremely unlikely scenario, the fact that she can do it is broken beyond belief.

No it should not, there is not a single other champion in the game who can stop summoner spells, that's kind of the point of them in the first place, to trump champion abilities!

Giving a champ the ability to stop summoners, no matter how difficult it may be, let's anyone who gets good with that champ and ability will find a zone of little to no counterplay. It's simply fucking stupid, no idea what Riot was thinking, fucking up their own formula for a "quirk" on one ability that makes it OP as shit.
