Lots Of Lag With Low Ping - Any Fixes??

My ping sits at a constant 36-42 and my FPS is capped at 60, but I am constantly having issues where my inputs don't seem to be reaching the server. Examples:

  • Will click to move. Champ will stand in same spot, one to five seconds, holding perfectly still.

  • Have clicked to move, but will then try to auto attack. Champ just keeps moving towards the previously input move spot, without changing direction or attacking.

  • Will try to use ability. Champ keeps moving/stands still, then several seconds later will use the ability - long after the enemies have moved out of the way. No way to re-target the ability, as one would if you targeted something out of range and were moving towards being in range.

Enemies and minions keep moving as normal, and I can see my character taking damage in real time as well. It seems like the only information that is lagging is my input.

Has anyone else had this problem? It varies widely for me. Sometimes I'll only get hit two or three times a game. In my last game though, it felt like it was happening every few minutes. I pull up my task manager and close out of EVERYTHING (and I do mean everything) non-essential and it doesn't make a difference. I have a network monitor that tracks usage - no one else but me on the network, nothing else sending packets except League, and still this happens.

It's making the game unplayable guys, and it didn't used to be like this. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a fix?

Did you manage to fix it?I'm having the same problem, I have 60 ping yet when I try to move there is a delayed response, abilities do too, and there have been instances of disconnecting. It's only in league. I don't have any issues anywhere else...

Having this problem just now and it is EXTREMELY obnoxious. Nothing's fixing it. I checked for packet loss, the command prompt says 0%. My internet is 120 mbps and my ping NEVER goes above 40 in game, yet it lags like no tomorrow and my character doesn't do what I tell it to do (it waits at random moments and it makes it impossible to dodge/aim anything). Game is currently unplayable for me and I have no clue how to fix it or even why it's happening. Definitely not packet loss because I checked for it multiple times both with command prompt and with online sites and it says 0%. I REALLY need help because the game's not working and I'm unable to play with my friends. Whenever I DO play, I blame it on lag but no one believes me because my ping is at 30-40. This is unbelievably stupid and I can't find a fix. Please help.

the lag that you are describing is the only lag I have to deal with (and it's rarely). Mine has always been a hardware issue with router and or modem. Release your ip, change priorities on your router software, and that kind of stuff
