Nidalee reworked because her one shot spears were too strong but the AOE one shot spears are not.
The counterplay is her team not following up on her ult or just watching as she gets 5v1 then going in after she dies.
She is quite easy to kite to be honnest any champion with a gap closer just can't die against shyv and if you have a cc you can escape as well.
if you cannot kite a Shyvana then you deserve to lose plain and simple
Hard CC and proper kiting mechanics easily deals with Shyvana man or another juggernaut like Illaoi because that ult is the bane of my existence or Mordekaiser since he'll steal a portion of her stat anyway. Lucian can easily kite her or even Jhin can knock her out with 4 or 5 shots depending on his build. I can't tell how often I've kited any juggernauts to death with Jhin since he's always faster than them when he lands a crit making it very easy to kite the ones with low mobility.
Stat checks in general are healthy game deisgn, according to riot anyways. Their kits are simple enough that they dont require darastic changes, but those r%%%%%s buff their base dmg and ratios to put them into pro relivence. Shyvana buffs were one of if not the most r%%%%%ed thing ive seen riot do to try to push relivence, but thats the reason why you are having problems with her. Tryndamere, udyr, yi, and many more are also like this, their kits are bland but simple enough, yet their numbers keep getting buffed turning them into monsters to make up for their simple shit.

She only has her R as engage, after she uses it as AD, just stunlock her or let your frontline deal with her. Backline should obviously stay back.
AP version is squishy af, so just burst her down when her E is on cd.
