If all Swain did was ult, then walk at you, and that got him a penta.....we are obviously missing a LOT of information.

Were you all super low already? Was the rest of his team there killing you? Were you all just standing there not moving? Did you aggro Baron to help him kill you faster?

Seriously, that isn't a thing that happens unless there are other factors, or unless he is somehow 20/0 and level 18 and your team is 0/20 and level 10. Just being realistic. It doesn't happen just like that.

Actually no, I've played maybe 3 games Swain ever? Look it up.

I've played against him plenty though and generally find him to be more then manageable.

Dude. You're level 21. Please learn more (WAY MORE) about the game before you start complaining that SWAIN of all people is broken. Sure, lower-tier players don't know how to deal, but great competitive players understand that he's really not that powerful. He doesn't bring enough damage/mobility and can be outrotated. If you catch him at a chokepoint, all the sustain in the world isn't gonna help you live through tons of CC. I'm not saying Swain isn't strong, but he sure as hell isn't broken.

(I'm not one of them, but I think I can speak for them seeing as Swain had a 0% PB rate for the past couple seasons)

Swain is actually somewhat squishy, particularly when his ult is not on. He takes a lot more damage than, say, Nasus, Garen, or other unkillable vamp tanks by nature - it's the amount of drain and vamp he's doing that makes him unkillable.

Ali can eat way more errant shots from distance than Swain ever should, is in some ways a better wall when fed, and generally speaking takes much less damage and usually longer to kill. But a fed Swain in the middle of a large teamfight can often seem utterly invincible...because if he's healing for any kind of really significant drain that also means he's probably tearing your team to pieces.

His ult has a exponential cost of mana. Means that as soon as you used mana enough to end your mana pool by only having rod of ages, archangel will not add much time for your ult.

My point was more that their swain did a pretty sketchy build and still managed to roll on them. He had to be pretty damn fed for that to happen XD. I'm not a fan of the tanky mana build, played it a couple times for the sake of curiosity, felt totally irrelevant and never bothered again.

if swain is so op learn him? i like his kit but i also like farming so i dont play him.. he soooo frustrating to farm with.. just pick a champ that can waveclear and push him under turret and se him lose cs..

Yeah his pre-6 farming is a nightmare and he struggles post 6 without blue buff if he's against waveclear champs. But even with much less farm his teamfight and dueling is godly. In the tank meta he's almost never burst through his ultimate in teamfights (at least if he has a zhonyas) and teamfights last long enough for him to turn off his ult when his mana gets low and reactivate it.

To be fair the easy solution is to just walk away. Swain is super easy to kite. The story is more like sejuani/malphite/amumu ulted our team then swain flashed onto our back line: swain pentakill. He's definitely op in this meta though

Not really, those same tanks that can help him get to the back line can be on the enemy team. Then they just say no to the birdman and he has to try and eat through the tanks before he gets near the squishies, runs out of mana, and then becomes useless/dead.

He's no mobility, there are champs that can do that and also catch you, if you got 1v5'd penta killed by swain by him just "walking at you" he was obscenely fed and you're all in bronze 13.

if there is a fed swain and your adc isn't building item 3033 then they should uninstall :) no but seriously this item is so good vs swain, vlad, and all those healing monsters. jut build it and you can shut them down easy.
