I've mained darius for about 6 months. I got 300k mastery points on him and carried my way to plat 1.. With this new season hes become outdated. I'm forced to play maokai, Poppy or Nautilus as the only viable toplaners for my team. Then Riot nerfs Darius, Which i don't think is necessary. And after the nerf, i see him banned most my games. I don't understand. I know hes a lane dominator. but if you play defensive you can almost always win against a darius. I thought that was the point of darius. Also, you can kite him fairly easily. Any tank can basically beat him in lane so why the nerf and why the constant bans?

Just curious.

He isn't as bad as you think, It's his enemies are the one that are strong right now so you just picked picks that try to render said strong enemies weaker with CC. Darius is still the damn fine sunshine of Noxus!

I have almost 800k and I'm rank 7 Darius NA. (http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/summoners/darius/na) While I think the Darius nerfs were random I don't deem them 100% undeserved. The early bloodrage dmg nerf wasn't that big of a deal. I mean let's be serious getting first blood lvl 1 was a little over kill. But I think the handle dmg will effect Darius harder than people think. Bruises like riven, fiora, and even yasuo that can stay up in Darius face have huge. All in all it wasn't that bad.
