I'm actually confused why we buffed lethality as a whole...

I actually saw a full lethality sion last night... the best part, it was more effective than any tank sion I've ever seen. Why do we keep buffing and nerfing items because of 2-3 outlying champions? The buffs and nerfs honestly hurt/help wayyyyyyyyyyyy more than the 2-3 champions that they are supposed to.

I have honestly not seen anyone that builds anything but lethality have fun right now. The game also (to me) isn't in a healthy state when champions that are designed to tank survive .5 seconds longer than damage champions. It also isn't healthy that those "tank" champions have so much damage that they can kill the squishy in 1-2 seconds if they can get to them...

I honestly miss season 1, large healers , tanks that didn't die (but hit like a moist towelette), and damage that took time to be dealt...

Hyper-buffing Lethality would have been rather akin to buffing BorK and Rageblade when Kog was still in machine-gun mode.

The only difference is that there are way more champs who can abuse Lethality than those who abuse OnHit effects.

The newest most diverse build path I saw last night was lethality udyr. it was a fun and interactive game of bear stance, tiger stance dead before the stun wore off.

I say it was lethality but after re-checking my match history it was a ghostblade rush then finished his jg item, then into tri-force. And yes the tiamat build is normally the best burst build.

Last night me and my friends got salty at how op lethality is now, so I went full lethality quinn adc, had my other friend go full lethality sion support, and my third friend full lethality garen top. We decimated the game and snowballed. TLDR: Lethality op needs to be re-adjusted I'm thinking 50% level 1?

I think there just needs to be a spot in the game for tanks... if tanks are a threat again, then positioning, kiting, and team fighting become a thing again. Right now besides a few outlying champions its "nuke whomever is the closest", or am I wrong to say that?

No your completely right, most of the meta champs are just nuke champs (Leblanc, Syndra, zyra are a few) Only problem last time tanks were strong was the hell known as The Juggernaut update. They tried to make some tanks potent in there own way but it became a stat check game where once the tank hit a certain point it required 5 people to kill them, and they could still normally take 1-2 down with them if there was a team behind them you had no way of winning the fight. It was almost like facing a nasus with 1000 stacks at 25 mins : ^)

I forgot to mention they have confirmed the next class update is the vanguard tanks. It will mostly be an update for tank items, but some champs will receive changes. I'm just hoping its not another juggernaut update.

Yea, but we know all is going to happen is tank items are going to get buffed by the update team, followed by the live balance team nerfing tank items/champions.

It isn't like their precious damage champions where they buff all the items because one or two champions are hurting...

We need tanks that hit like a wet noodle when built pure tank, but can survive 10-15 seconds 1v5, but also are threatening over a long team fight. Some of the balance could even be fixed in the mastery tree by reducing damage masteries...

I wouldnt reduce damage. Just Give tanks some reliable CC and have them some absolutly ridiculous tank stats while their abilities (CC abilities doing 0 or up to 20 damage) not doing the Nautilus RQaaWE a E dead adc thing. Also Sunfire and Black cleaver need to die and Titanic hydra completly removed. Imo the base damages of a tank are too high because if tank has 90 damage and adc has 120 on ability the tank does more because hes tanky to spam it on CD which damage champs cant afford. Armor pen should be only permited for Marksmen as well as some items that would be only usable by ranged to solve the ADC items abused by juggernatus and fighters.

It's not like they didn't know this would happen. I replied to Meddler's post about the lethality buff asking him why he thought it was a good idea when all but like 2-3 of lethality stacking champs were already sitting at 50-54% win rate.

They learned nothing from the Maw Meta of S6. For all their talk of adding "meaningful counterplay," they don't seem to give a shit when it comes to ADs. Stacking spellshields, cc breaks, incidental MR on core items, and armor pen/shred so high that you can't counterbuild.

None of it makes sense.
