For the love of god remove autofill Riot

It's killing ranked and botlane. I've seen Darius support, Nocturne support and Lee Sin support. Winning botlane (and the game unless another lane gets fed as hell) now depends on who doesn't get an autofill support (or at least an autofill who isn't a dickhead about having to play support). If it's needed to reduce excessive queue times at diamond+, fine. But please remove it from lower divisions. It hasn't reduced my queueing time in bronze at all while it has significantly reduced the quality of the matches because about half of the autofill supports can't man up and as a result pick something ridiculous to fail or outright troll with.

Also is it me or has autofill become a lot more active lately? I've been autofilled ADC twice today and even been autofilled mid of all things.

"We're implementing autofill to help with queue time." Yeah but it's really hurting my game experience. I'd rather wait another 5 minutes than have a useless top laner and have the enemy top laner be fed because my top laner doesn't actually play the role. Moreover I'd rather not BE that top feeding top laner.

The real issue with autofill is blatantly the support role itself. There was a person who tested the autofill feature over hundreds (if not thousands) of games last season, and was filled to support in 89% of the games. Shocking, people dont want to play support, i know. But when its to that staggering of a number, and the community equates "Fill = Support", its clearly becoming a problem. The role needs to be reworked, changed in identity, or be made fundamentally fun. Support's low participation has been a problem for a while now, but if Riot is going to force the entire community to be subjected to autofill, they atleast owe it to them to make the role satisfying and fun, atleast to the point if someone clicks fill, there isnt a fucking 9/10 chance they get a specific role.

The sad thing is, I actually enjoy supporting. I like playing tanks/utility champions, so the role itself is actually pretty fun for me. The problem is, i dont want to ONLY support if i pick the role as a secondary, since i like jungling as well. So im forced to do Jungle/Mid to increase my chances of getting jungle, and sometimes getting mid which i actually DISLIKE PLAYING, simply because ill get filled into support enough times to get my fix, and hopefully trade the jungler for mid since its a coveted rule. The system is just blatantly not functioning right now, and needs to be fixed.

God knows how many games I've been autofilled into ADC and dodged when nobody wanted to trade.

I don't want to play ADC and I definitely don't want to play with an autofilled support.

I know, make Autofil toggleable. at least then if you are desperate you can get whatever role you want.

I had an autofilled adc lock in as Annie yesterday... in a ranked match. I never dodge games, but I just couldnt face it. He flat out refused to play anything but mid, so I couldnt even offer him to play ADC instead of him (I main support). Autofill is just horrible :(

I am willing to play any role to be honest... But I am best at support, and jungle. I can mid and ADC just fine. I wouldn't want to top, but if I have too, I will try my absolute hardest.

I am not very fond of people when they are "whiners" and want a role that they whine about.

If I do see any "whiners" get their preferred role, I try to ignore them the whole game if possible.

When I see people harass/being toxic to others, I pretty much just try to get their kills stolen by teammates and never help them, as I disapprove of bullies entirely... Which, in my opinion, does serve them right.

Agree'd this ryze support crap and everyone else that is not support cause people don't have them/want to play them is getting old.I mean i don't want to play support either cause of the adc but i don't complain i just play it usually raka.

Man, it must have sucked for you before this year, right? When you were only guaranteed a role ~20% of the time and had to be competent at at least 3-4 roles, and play support ~20% of the time?

I'd rather wait an extra 5 minutes than have to sit through 20+ minutes of having Caitlyn support because Riot forced someone to play the role and they really don't want to.

Out of the 14 games i played in solo queue so far i only got auto filled 2 times, the rest of the games i got mid.

Flex queue i get auto filled more often but it doesn't matter to me much cause i play flex when i don't feel like playing mid.

Maybe i'll notice a difference when i get to plat but for gold elo solo queue auto fill is fine.

I completely agree just got out of a game where a Ryze decided to go mid after he got autofilled so then I ended up going bot half way through the game as Jayce.... and there is nothing I can do to stop shit like this from happening in my games. :(
