Trynd ult has a diminishing active timer?

I have been noticing lately that trynd ult seems to work fine early game, but its as if his timer for it to be active goes to zero after 30min as I have been seeing them die when they activate the ult. Either it being active is shorten or there is a delay with the sound fx and it being active. Anyone else noticing this?
