Anivia needs to be looked at

Anivia : currently sits on a 54% win rate and a 7.8% pick rate

  • consistent damage
  • afk waveclear which makes her survive even in bad matchups
  • passive is frustrating for matchups that do not absolutely dumpster her in lane
  • most of her counter picks were nerfed Syndra AurelionSol Leblanc Zyra
  • has solid burst damage even with just a item 3010 and item 3070, so she is strong at all stages of the game except for level 1
  • Q is extremely slow and easily dodgable but has a gigantic/deceptive hitbox similar to Syndra's pre-nerf W
  • Extremely good wall which is great vs immobile opponents

Nerf suggestions:

+small reductions to base damage in trade of better scaling power. I don't think Anivia was intended to bully opponents out of lane like Syndra. At least without a few AP items

  • increased damage AMP towards her egg-form. It should be a passive that makes teammates want to protect it. Not a get out of jail free card (at least with her current strength

They already did that during the tweaks.

I don't think Anivia was intended to bully opponents out of lane like Syndra .

Syndra can move while casting, she should not be getting caught or sitting close enough for Q-->E to hit. Would need to use wall, and that has a long cd.

It's not get out of jail free. Teammates usually just leave you to die when egged. It also gives negative defensive stats; people just need to stop popping it during a tower dive.

thank you, but in her state she remains too forgiving. She cannot particularly lose matchups hard after 6 since she can just clear a wave without penalty due to mana/mana-regen items being good on her

and the passive is get out jail free for certain matchups like Lux Annie Lissandra TwistedFate Zilean who are reliant on CDs to make any significant damage

Do you think she is balanced? Or anywhere near a contending spot with Orianna Ahri Fizz etc

The nerfs above are the wrong way to go about it. TLD is the only way she has pressure now post-kit tweaks

Yes, champions do have counter-matchups. Try taking her into mobile champions, I promise you won't have fun.

I think she needs to be observed for a power trim since her playrate jumped.

However, considering that most of the meta champs right now have low waveclear, it's likely due to that. Add on the recent changes making doran's ring's passive unique and you have a bunch of people now running oom vs Anivia and then losing games for it. After all, Anivia players have a history of trying to conserve their mana, while other champs became largely manaless with 2 doran's.
