Eleisa's Miracle wasn't that bad... but you usually just sat on Philosophers stone for as long as possible (to get that lovely gp10)

Supports are interesting they usually don't get the most gold so item efficiency is usually more important than slot efficiency... however they also usually have 2 or 3 slots taken up (control wards + sightstone + support item)

Anyway, Eleisa's Miracle was wildly underpowered so I highly doubt they'll ever re-add anything remotely resembling it.
