Think about, nerfing ADC damage means that you won't get smashed in lane with no hope of coming back the moment your enemy laner gets first blood/first turret gold since it will take them longer to scale giving your teammates the opportunity to help you comeback. Also shifting the excessive power from bot lane to other lanes means that even if you do play like the garbage you are, you still have a chance of getting carried by your teammates, instead of forcing an auto-loss on your team. :^)

Bot is balanced, adc are the squishiest champs in the game you can totally focus them down and you ll be good.

You don't have damage? then that means that they played well and you played bad so they deserve to win.

You can't kill them since they have a support with them? then we are talking about supports also being really strong as they are clearly what prevents you from killing the adc and winning... so nerf supports?

Counter argument would be the towers. Regardless, the bot lane is still the easiest lane to try to shut down first, isn't it? Not saying it's a bad idea, rather it's definitely an interesting one, it's just... hard to imagine what the results would be like with just a hindsight perspective. Least for the time being, I can see this as a potential idea that could work, but... unsure of where to place my confidence for the time being. We also need to consider the game as a whole, in terms of that now nerfed ADC against every other role in the game, from early into late.

It's so weird to me seeing all these people spamming that adc is the only role that matters, going into their match history, and seeing a different role in ever game doing the carrying regardless of whether its an adc, a support, a jungler, a mid, or... dare I say it, even the top laner

I dont understand why this board thinks adcs are determining the games, when it is far from the truth. I have yet to see a game where win bot = win game.
