TELL me that teleport doesn't have more utility throughout mid and late game yeah heal can help out with trades, ganks, engages, sustain early on but man get yer SUPPORT on that heck I don't need freakin heal but I get told "TWITCH take heal what are you DOing??" and I get that EVERY TIME teleport has won me games

Been saying it since Season 1.

Most Summoner Spell can help you win battles.

Teleport can win games.

I take teleport over flash on my supports... usually earns me a lot of flak. People generally stop complaining after a good tele-gank or two, and late game I can be anywhere I need to be, whether that be split pushing, or catching up to my team after a back, or even the traditional dragon fight TP.

Heal is superior for the laning phase in that it can keep you and your support alive. It also helps lock down kills via its speed boost, and can be used to bait or prolong fights until they can be turned around in your favor. I encourage you to consider heal over TP. Many of the best ADC players do this, and they do it for a reason.

Teleport will make you lose trades and all-ins while not providing you nearly as much utility as you think it does since you're not tanky enough to teleport to a good flanking position.

I guess the question you have to ask yourself is whether the utility that teleport lends mid/late game is more than valuable than the item superiority from more gold from winning your lane because of heal/exhaust/ignite gives you.

I don't know the answer. Winning lane feels good. So do five man teleports to deep wards hemming in half the enemy team in the jungle and exposing them all with your blue trinkets.

Because an ADC is always bad early game and the other ones that are normally brought help increase your survivability to get to late game. Bring TP and you can't really do much for ADC. Sure you can TP if needed but that is so rare with how little durability that you have that it would rarely ever be helpful. Heal/ignite/barrier still help with late game a lot when used correctly.

Because if I jump you as any assassin you are basically as good as dead without heal...the speedboost+immediate hp is one of the reasons why ADCs are such cancer lol

CHAWhawhawhaw Heal never helped me against Zed or Akali. Nothing helps against them short of decent peel, which I swear is nonexistent these days. Chawhawhawhaw. Hawhaw. Haw.

Im with the OP. I always use teleport on my ADC too. My thinking is that it gives me the ability to go back and buy (for free)during the laning phrase at least once. Against an equally matched opponent I get to do it twice. I dont always use it on the first back either, but most of the time I do. By using this strat I almost always can take a losing or even lane, and turn it back in my favor by having greater CS. Think about when you get pushed to your turret, and you are at half health. you are scared to push the lane back to center... but with teleport i can push 1 wave up, go buy, and tele back without losing the turret. Im seeing way soo many replys to this guy about all'ins and aggressive kills, which is dangerous. My number 1 goal in LoL is to not feed. I dont care so much about my KDA, but I NEVER want to feed.

When it comes to alternate summoner spells I like Exhaust on adcs. It gives both better dueling potential as well as survivability against certain champs like the assassin mid/jgs. However I do agree that taking alternatives to heal have potential but it should vary depending on supports as well as lane opponents.

Personally I take heal because the most common supports that I have (braum, thresh, blitz) do not have a heal and at least half of the times I use it is to save their asses because no one in bronze silver knows when to engage and when to disengage.

But there are many games where I would have loved to be able to back without worrying about losing my turret.

Actually I saw an adc with heal and teleport recently it would have been a massacre but aparentlly jungles don't like to gank bot lane(even with the wave frozen on my side)

Because in trades you lose because you don't have Exhaust/heal.

Depending on what your support has.

I usually take scaling runes and masteries as support and take teleport. (permanent in lane to babysit the ADC, quick mana refill, receiving much more xp than the enemy support) Especially mana hungry champions it's convenient to have or supports that should prefer to stay outside of the 650 range (exhaust's range) as much as possible. It easily saves a turret each match that others neglected to defend.

Presence is everything. TP is OP when used right, on any role.

I honestly don't see why some higher elo's don't run revive/TP. I know the aim is to die as few times as possible, but after a lategame teamfight. How is that heal of 400~ hp gonna do more than you being right back into the fight and at full resources, if you did happen to die? Then again this would require getting revive and tp, which means no flash, which isn't happening.

I guess the epic players know something I don't about it. Probably something about knowing when to back and having homeguards anyway, tho they only help on the way out of base.

Still think every champ should get flash automatically, and remove it as a summoner spell. We're in league of mobility anyway, people with 2-3 gap-closers and decent damage reign supreme. If everyone could get atleast get a free flash without having to take it as a summoner, we'd see alot of new lane strategy and different spells being used. Everyone takes it anyway.

it takes longer to respawn after dying than it does to walk back to lane after recalling. that's why ADCs take heal.

Depends on what your game plan is.

Many want to win lane. Taking TP means you don't care about your lane, you want to snowball yourself and another lane.

I take TP on kalista, since she's usually safe enough without heal, and actually can make for an amazing split pusher lategame. It has totally won me games, but I do feel that less mobile ADCs still need their heal, otherwise they're just too risky.
