Illaoi hits me with one E

She's even seen limited (but successful) use in the LCS. Her E is incredibly stupid in lane. Landing one ability shouldn't guarantee as much damage as her E guarantees. Playing against her as squishy champs is a total nightmare.

Illaoi's E is only a problem if you have 0 brain cells. First off, you just Blitzcrank it by using minions. Even if you get hit, just let the tentacle spawn, dodge when it slaps at you, then leave it so no more show up. Illaoi is not difficult if her opponent has any form of common sense.

being an illaoi main I think the best thing to for against her is don’t given her the time of day. If you aren’t super sure you cannot punish her weaknesses then stay out of range tonfight her.

One tip I have and do against other illaoi’s is bait out one E very early before she has damage. I do this to see the users patterns so I know how to dodge it every time after that. Illaois are super eager to land the e so by putting yourself somewhere they can “easily” hit you will make them throw it out without anticipating what you’re doing. It’s dangerous yes but effective.

Her e needs to be moved to her ult, then it can be that good, and have a reasonable cooldown
