a talk about Zephyr and Moonflair Spellblade (aka alternate tenacity items)

If you dont know what items im talking about, its these ones and (this one is only on twisted treeline) SO we have 2 alternate items to mercury treads for tenacity. lets start with zephyr. It gives 10% run speed, which is a lot. It Anivia has the lowest run speed in the game, at 325, so this item would give 32 run speed (i know she wont get it, but my point is the lowest run speed you can get from this). Compared to merc treads which gives 45, a difference of 13, which honestly you really wont notice the difference unless you had a VERY long chase and no gap closer. Ive seen some people build this item instead of boots, as not only does it give you the movespeed, it has 50% attack speed. Now, for those of you who noticed, besides runaans hurricane, which is ranged only and only has the attack speed buff besides its unique passive, makes it tied with for most attack speed, which are only good on specific roles/champs, while zephyr is good on many more versatile roles/champs. on top of this, it gives 25 attack damage, which may not be a lot as far as ad items go, but it is a respectable upgrade. Oh, it also has cdr. Honestly it has so many stats, you should never ignore it. Besides the boot enchants, you really wont lose a lot trading merc treads or greaves for this wonderful item. NOW my personal favorite item. in the whole game. Moonflair spellblade. I dont understand why more people dont build this. Again, it has tenacity. While it share no other similar stats with zephyr, it has its own power in its own right. It gives 50 armor, magic resist, and ability power. Read those numbers again. 50 armor and magic resist? plus tenacity? thats a tank dream. Even if you have no ability power scaling, just those stats alone make it EXTREMELY item slot effecient. I build this on almost ANY ability power champion, and a lot of tanks. The only ones i dont build it on are EXTREMELY long range mages ( and mostly). You ever see a , who is extremely hard to get all the stats he wants in six slots (armor and magic resist, ability power, health, mana, and cdr if you can get that in there somewhere, plus boots), grab this item, he becomes extremely hard to kill. running at you? check her items. you see this sword in there you run. fast. really its hard to think of any chapions that cant use this. ADC could use it as a replacement, as that doesnt exist on twisted treeline. Fighters use it for defence to survive those initiations and stop cc. Mages use it for defence and a small ap boost. tanks for similar reasons as fighers. Supports i guess dont have a use as they are, well, supports, and it only serves themselves (the ap is small for say a heal or other abilities). Is a nightmare to see with this item. People say his weakness is cc and zoning, so stun or slow him. The raw defence takes care of his innate glass cannon build he normally builds (which compliments his ult wonderfully), the tenacity helps him not have to have merc treads, and could get greaves or speed boost, and now slows are weaker as well. ability power helps his damage a lot, as he really deals more magic damage than physical (for the most part. depends on builds yes, but most jax stats at the end of the game say more magic than physical). really i dont see why this item isnt mentioned when i see peoples builds on twisted treeline. Its even very cheap for its stats, only 2620 and having a suggested value of 3088 without even counting the tenacity.
