Taliyah - The Bird and the Branch

It's the classic questions each time a new champion comes out :

  1. Who is the Gameplay Designer behind Taliyah ?

  2. Is she the official Traditionnal mage (Vel'koz, lissandra, Anivia, etc) you confirmed for this yearsince Aurelion Sol was too unique to please the traditionnal group ? (The Dragon is still awesome, just not a traditionnal mage)

  3. Any possible hint about the utility she will bring (AoE CC and utility, Dmg, sustain, burst) or not possible until next week reveal ?

Thanks for any kind of answer !

Zenon. Who brought you ~~questionable ~~releases like Azir Lucian TahmKench and reworked Xerath

Aurelion was the traditional mage. He's unique, but still a traditional, immobile, mid-range, magic damage dealer.

She has a knockup, probably AoE.

A Meddler's Statement confirmed Aurelion Sol wasn't the Traditionnal mage they planned this year. He's a unique one-of-a-kind like Azir. It was said before Aurelion was officially released.

So yes, I expect Taliyah to be the traditionnal mage due to their squishy look, Stone mage name AND the fact meddler confirmed a more traditionnal was in the work (and it's not Aurelion).

Oh interesting. I'm slightly less unenthusiastic about Zenon working on her now.

Can't screw up a simple design.

Azir : Broken OP, way too hard and complex AND buggy-mess that still get Bug fix 2 years later...

Lucian : Underpowered, made Broken OP, nerfed then just strong.

Tahm Kench : Simple kit, but the kit is TOO good and make it broken

Xerath : I think it's the only one that came out as decent but the Ult VFX is very underwhelming.

The base kit behind the champs he made are cool, but the end result is a mess. That's why I prefer Gypsylord and Certainlyt, their champs may end broken OP, but they always release great kits, thematics and awesome to play as characters.

When I clicked on the link I wasn't sure if it was champions lore or his passive description :/
