Quicksilver Sash. It's effects should be swapped with Cleanse. (Not Cooldowns.)

Quicksilver Sash removes suppression and all other cc. On a 90s cooldown. For 1550 gold.

Why the hell is this allowed? Then the champion can build an AD item out of the QSS, and not lose any damage because of it!

I'd rather force the enemy team to pick a summoner spell summoner 1 on a 250ish cooldown in lobby to counter me, than for them to pay a MEASLY 1550 gold to render a champion obsolete. Malzahar Urgot Skarner Warwick

Post your counterarguments. And I'll quote you in this post and explain why you're wrong.

So you want those champions to be rendered useless by a single summoner spell?

I think this idea is just... I don't even know what to say.

How difficult is to just spend 1250g on a single QSS? Yes you will probably have to delay your damage and this item will probably not be useful otherwise, but that's the fucking trade-off for being able to survive those champions. If there were no QSS, they would be too powerful; and if other CC removal/reduction sources could affect suppression, these champions would be useless.

It's like when you are against Zed as an AP champion. He forces you to buy Zhonya, yes. However, there isn't any problem with that. It's just adapting your build to a situation, you don't have to build the same things on every battle.

I don't think you understand. I HATE QSS. It's too GOOD of an item. 1250 gold counters a champion entirely on a NINETY SECOND COOLDOWN.

I want these champions to be countered by a 250s cooldown rather than a 90s cooldown. You mentioned Zed. Zed can be countered in lobby by selecting Exhaust. Exhaust is a 250s cooldown spell. Zed's ult is what, a 90s cooldown? That means Zed has a 160s window in which he can function without worrying about exhaust.

SUPPRESSION CHAMPIONS HAVE NO WINDOW. QSS IS UP EVERY SINGLE TIME YOUR SUPPRESSION IS UP.

On the subject, Zhonyas is OP and should be removed as well.

I hate Riven too and I am not asking to remove her.

If an enemy with suppression forced you to spend 1250 gold on a item, they, somehow, already countered you, because other items could be useful in place of QSS. So it is not like this item renders them completely useless, especially if you consider the rest of their kits.

Exhaust does not "counter" Zed, it just cripples him and give you a better chance to deal with him, but he can still kill you under certain circunstances.

By allowing a champion to counter Malzahar and others with a single summoner spell, that means you are free to build everything you want and still counter those champions. That would render them completely useless and outclassed.

Also, Zhonya should not be removed. This item is essential for a ton of champions Fiddlesticks Kennen Morgana Katarina Fizz Akali Vladimir Karthus Kassadin Rumble Diana If you remove Zhonya, those champions will be rendered weak or useless. If the champions are broken due to their synergy with Zhonya, just nerf the champions themselves, not Zhonya.

You don't seem to understand. Right now, QSS is better than Cleanse in all manners possible.

To take Cleanse, you must sacrifice a spell slot, where an escape, cc, damage, or heal spell could exist.

To take QSS, you don't sacrifice anything. You just build it into an item that gives you back the damage you should have sacrificed.

Cleanse has a 250s cooldown. That's perfect length for breaking a suppression. QSS has a 90s cooldown. That's about the same length as the cooldown on suppression. It's broken.

It's not broken because you have to spend gold and sacrifice an item slot for it. A slot that you could use for items that would be better otherwise. This is especially crippling if you are using an AP champion, since this item has no good upgrades for them. And for tanky champions, this item's magic resistance is only useful against... well... magic damage.

Also as I explained, you also have to delay the rest of your build, thus delaying your damage. This can potentially set you much far behind.

It sets both characters behind, but the suppression champion is PERMANENTLY crippled. These champions only have one, singular, powerful tool that their kits are built around. 90s cooldown for 1250g is too short to absolutely DESTROY any usefulness of those champions.

They still have other tools on their kit to work. It's not like QSS renders them completely useless. Malzahar for example, can still destroy tanks. Skarner can still chase any immobile carry to death.

If Cleanse could get rid of suppression, then you wouldn't even need to pay to remove that, and Cleanse is already as good as it is. This would render Malzahar and others outclassed by other champions.

But they would have 250s cooldown. That leaves a 160s window in which Malzahar and pals can function as they're supposed to. Quick Silver Sash doesn't leave ANY window.

Your counterargument has been posted. You seem to think I LIKE QSS. Read again, and realize you are incorrect.

250s cooldown to counter a champ. 90s cooldown to counter a champ.
