How do I get a silver boarder in loading screen?

I just got silver 4 in my promos, when i joined the next game for some reason I had no boarder around my name. Why is this? Do i need to wait until season 6 ends?

Your border is determined by your ranking when the season ends.

You get the borders at the end of the season. They last for 1 season.
