Well, same thing is happening with Master Yi. If devourer was to be removed from the game, he would be fine. But alas, the item is in the shop, and I bet if you looked at the statistics for % of games master yi buys devourer, it is a large majority.

the double attack coupled with his own passive double attack leads to an insane number of hits with E active. Typically does 700 - 1200 TRUE damage in auto attacks while his E is active. Yes, you can invade, but even an unstacked devourer on this guy makes him hard to duel.

The problem is that Dev gives too much power just in its base form. 30 on hit magic damage right off the bat for attack speed stackers, compounding that with challenging smite and you've got some really dumb auto attack power straight out the gate

Once you hit sated you just become cancer, with pretty much anyone who can benefit from it becoming a monster

He doesn't need nerfs, his kit needs a full rework. He's either going to be insanely oppressive or complete shit with no in between.

If you don't completely ruin Yi's game before the 10 minute mark then you deserve to get annihilated by true damage. The advantage that your team has innately when against a Master Yi jungle that has to farm his Devourer to be relevant is gigantic.

I can't beat Yi early on Nidalee, my main champ. I can beat any other champion early on her, but Yi is someone that I've never been able to beat out. I just ban him 100% of the time currently.

I don't understand how you can't destroy Yi as Nidalee pre 6. You must be doing something wrong.

I can play Nidalee well into anything but Yi as I said. Once I was level 5, he was 4 I had double buffs and more health, he only had red. He was able to outduel me, and I played it perfectly.

Yeah, that's how you play against most Devourer junglers. The thing with Master Yi is that he has sustain from his W, meaning he wins 1v1s in the jungle, and two AA modifiers, which will be your main source of damage as a jungler early on. Meaning that you have to counterjungle him stealthily rather than flat-out killing him.

Hmm, i love how you say 700 True damage. Wish it was true, then I can kill entire team in 3 secs.

For non believers, summoner 11 does True damage (390 to 1000). And challenging Smite item 3715 marks a target. A marked target will receive TRUE DAMAGE for 3 secs from all AA.

If your team doesn't bring any hard cc against a Master Yi, you're going to have a bad time.

Rammus, yorick both rock yi jungle quit complaining and find the counters. Don't think I've ever lost to a yi jungle with rammus. You can legitimately take him out of the game.
