Who's The Hardest Champion?

bistroh··4 votes·1,581 views

Hello, so I'm looking for some hard champions to really learn and master, and maybe even to main. Someone that is tough to pick up but really effective when mastered or just takes a while to really learn. I already know some like azir, Orianna, and Cass are hard but who are some others? I've played some Draven and he was kind of tricky with positioning but he wasn't to bad. I've also heard things about anivia but she just takes some getting used to. Thanks in advanced!

LeBlanc and Nidalee are super easy

Try hitting a Nidalee's spear at max range, then come and say that again.

There's a reason why people say he's better in high elo. I don't know how has is hard tho, might just be me but he's ridiculously easy to first blood with.

Malphite Sorry... I had to. item 3070

Riot does give them difficulty ratings OP. You can also look at winrate vs. games played charts on champion.gg to figure this out.

INB4 major salt. Draven, Yasuo, Zed, Shaco are ones I can think off the top of my head. Yes Yasuo is actually a champion that takes alot of time to master. Yes Zed is a champion that takes a long time to master, but good luck as he is pretty much perma-banned. Shaco when played properly is unbelievably strong, and Draven is just Draven.

Papa Slothy2 votes

I think shaco is actually one of the most well made champs, clear weaknesses and clear strengths

Have level 5 on Yasuo and Zed, already have their mechanics down pretty well

Hmm... well...

Disclaimer: These are champions that I struggle with, so there might be some disagreement with me.

But I figured I would throw them out there anyway.

Elise Fiora Galio Leblanc Orianna RekSai

Just to name who I can think of at the moment.

LeBlanc and Elise are really easy to me.

Illaio is a high skill cap champion. Most call her OP, because they have never actually played her.

It depends what you consider difficult. Champions with high APM or champions who require advanced knowledge of their weaknesses and even when "mastered" can be a challenge.

I would've recommended AD Malzahar in the past, but now even that's just a joke.

It's hard for me to come up with any champions that are actually difficult anymore, but i'd say Aatrox is probably the hardest to master atm. He's not very powerful, but he's really not a tank, and lacks most of the luxuries that every other melee is given.

LB doesn't belong anywhere on a difficulty list. Having a high skill ceiling loses its appeal when the skill floor is in the basement.

Of all the champions I've played, these 3 are the most difficult to feel comfortable on, I think:

Gangplank TwistedFate Draven

Hardest thing about TF is getting to the point where you dont miss a card. I can never get that down and so I suck at TF because I often have to waste an extra second waiting for that gold card to rotate back through.

Draven Draven Draven Draven Draven Go Draven seriously people think he isn't that hard. Oh no the great Draven is hard. In my opinion the hardest champ ever. You have to keep moving non stop if you want to stack your passive. But since the fucking minion block it's legit so hard to catch your own axes cause your damn minions won't get out of the way or you go through your own. And when you have increased move speed and attack speed it gets so ridiculous cause by late game you have to catch those axes cause if you don't your dead.

Rumble!

In my ranking he is the second hardest champion after Azir - multiple micro management planes to deal with and an Ult which needs more than one thought to be used effectivly.

Additionally Rumble might be the only Champion in this game I simply cannot play no matter how hard i try. x'D

Lol rumble was always fun. I also found Jayce to be a super fun champion that is also hard to play and master. Plus Jayce is secretly OP and nobody plays him.

I'd say Azir Rumble and Yasuo

How did no one mention Kalista. Hard as fuck to play. I'd rate her much harder to play than Azir.

Zyra positioning and ambushing Olaf honestly restraint ... master him you master controlling your urges to dive in. Nasus master the dog and you know how to stay in lane for 30 mins that one shot people. Thresh learn this champ.. and the idea is when to dive fly in and not to.. also you will learn priority targets.
Irelia you will learn what a keyboard feels like on your face when you get really good with her. Bard will teach you that there is a world outside just sitting in a lane during laning phase Aatrox mastering this guy you will learn what it feels like to stick your shoes in water than run a marathon. you will get some blisters and wonder why you spent so much time on a champion. Urgot teaches you top lane can bring people to tears. Singed helps you learn how strong minions are and how pre-warding is so important .. plus the power of proxie farming.

Mordekaiser He is made of metal.

Jayce takes some finesse and practice to master all of his combos/playstyles, but most forget he even exists.
