Brand or Vladimir?

Brand getting nerfs soon probably, Vlad has crazy sustain and dmg while brands burst and aoe are godlike. You pick.

Brand is a very powerful and popular champ at the moment. I would suggest getting him tbh. Vlad's not in a good spot right now. Hardly anyone picks him anymore and he wins less than half his games.

As a newbie, I had more fun playing Vlad. Playing ranked, Vlad was a VERY SAFE pick (at least for me). His pool counters a lot of champs so when I was facing a champ that I usually had a hard time with, Vlad always came to mind.

Vlad pros: pool makes great escape from ganks/ can be good for trades. He doesnt use mana. He uses health which you can get back by using Q. Q is good for trades and can keep you from going back to base early game. He can be used for mid or top. You can be full AP or tanky. Ult is good on Team fights.

Cons: Champions are a little harder (or slower) to kill (than Brand) Not super mobile (must be careful when to use pool)

Brand Pros: Deals more damage. Ult is also good on team fights. Bursty - you can easily kill most champs you're against Can be an annoying support.

Cons: Not super mobile. Stun can be hard to hit. Most don't prefer him as support. (can MAINLY go mid)

Overall Brand is more of a damage mage while Vlad is a utility-ish mage..with damage too.
