It is common knowledge that mordekaiser has been a kindof item dependent champion who is hit pretty hard when item changes are made but its also common knowledge that games are actually getting shorter.

this one is old, I can't find the new one but it also shows that in general games have also gotten shorter according to play level in the past and with things like rylais getting cheaper and thus affordable even if you aren't snowballing left and right mordekaiser can more quickly get the items he needs.

as you can see this item is not actually mordekaisers top priority but it is an option and something commonly built. One game he doesn't even get started on it but that's pretty deep into the game.

according to this he has a 55% win chance if he ends the game around 35-40 minutes in at plat and above but this also means that his actual powerspike comes BEFORE HE EVER TOUCHES THE NEXUS OR HELPS WITH OBJECTIVES so something has to happen around 20-30 minutes in for that afterwhich he has a massive nosedive in power anyways. Basically nothing is actually changing except that he may have what.. 100 less hp lategame? But he's been stacking hp items anyways as you can see from the first probuilds link I gave

So mordekaiser will still have the slow from and will get far more quickly than before by sacrificing some ap and hp but these aren't the only reason he was getting this anyways. Interestingly the price will also be dropping around enough to get T2 boots.
I don't think mordekaiser was getting rylais because he wasn't already a massive ball of stats. There will also be less hurdles to jump over since rylais will no longer require

I had some good games as jungle Morde. Skirmishers smite and ghost, early Ap, and ad crit from there. Farm your ass off, ward a lot, ganks in lane where enemies are low

KnightOfEloHell1 votesI have been playing without Rylias since the nerf. Rush gunblade, get a tank item or two, and either go heavy AD, AP, or hybrid pen, depending on ememy comp and builds.
