in gold there are toxic people who intentionally troll and do bs stuff in ranked for such reasons , and fast tilt players ...
same thing plat silver and bronze , i even saw some trolls and toxic players in diamond ..... and the boosted players ... Dia - plat players who create smurf accounts just troll in low elo ranked games , yeah beleive it or not .

3131 votesNo it didn't., You can't effectively win as many games as a duo as you can as a 5 man. Look at the challenger ladder. So many people with 90%+ win rates which was almost impossible before but 5maning made it easy

And again, with DUO Queue it didn't really matter either. You could have a diamond player carry you. Also, people were always trolls, which is his point I believe.

BIue Monk2 votesYep, now, each match is mixed with real solo that deserve the elo they're at AND dynamic boosted people that are just beginners (former silver/golds in plat/diam) most of the time. How to detect them ? Very easy : They will do NOTHING the whole game and stay behind letting ennemies take all the objective and hope that a solo player in their team will find a window to carry them... So the typical platinum game for example will have plats solos and silver/gold boosted players into each team, solos will most of the time carry in both team, resulting in a totally random game (as if 2 diamond smurfs met in a bronze game and both try to carry their team, game outcome is mostly randomized).

notmebuthim2 votesDynamic Q turned ranked into normal. I only solo in ranked, but I feel like my impact in the game is rather small. Games feel like they come down to who has the smurfs A.K.A. which team has the better duo/trio that is being boosted.

There's a difference in Gold V to Gold I, I feel. The mechanics get better. D5 and D1 also have a huge skill difference.

Mysticman891 votesAs a minor nitpick, everything you're talking about seems to be directed at particular tiers, not divisions. Tiers are bronze/silver/gold/etc, while divisions are 5-1.
IMO divisions can actually make the difference in how things feel, with <whatever> 3 probably actually being the 'best' feeling. <whatever> 4 and 5 has all the bad people relative to the tier who were potentially just boosted there, while <whatever> 2 and 1 has the bad people from the tier above also in the same matches as their mmrs tank post-boost.

Dimetri White1 votesI started in b5. When I made it to mid silver I started to get matched with golds 3 - 1s and last season golds (obvious because of banner) and I have NEVER seen people so toxic. A few days ago I literally had a lucian that, at the start of the game, said "GG they have a better team comp than us" and never even really tried to win. everytime he was able to throw a surrender vote he did.
