He doesnt need compensation, AD shaco has a 54% win rate.

but wouldn't that just result in no change ( or nearly no change) in damage output?

the nerf they did was a big mistake, they should tweak the abilities not the ratios, they just nerfed shaco lane... which is quite sad

For the patch 6.24 they nerfed ap and ad ratio on his e and also drastically dropped the ults flat damage instead of just reducing the ap ration of the ults burst damage so there was the burst of damage in order to finish someone off or get them low enough to kill concepts are kinda of the same but my lov for shaco is seriously going down the drain with how the meta is currently and not having enough damage to fight people 1 on 1 if they have 1 health / armour item its pretty much completely pointless you wont kill them
