Tanks in A Nutshell

Except in the S2 days tank divers/initiators were the shit, who could dive and easily chase you across 2 towers around mid-game to get you, tanking tower shots along the way, and with enough HP to get out of the situation as long as they aren't ganged up by 3+ people.

People seem to over-exaggerate the tank's capability these days for whatever reason. Granted, there was a time when tanks were somewhat on rampage, but really, with damage dealers who have been dominating the game ever since S3 I think we could be more tolerant with tanks being somewhere near the spotlight .

Also why is tank doing anything other than having loads of HP suddenly a plague to avoid? They need some way to pose some level of threats to the enemy team to draw their attention you know (either CC or damage), if all they have is HP, what good use are they?

Hell, tanks are vastly glass-er than the tanks of older times too, given that %hp is everywhere these days, that damage is so cheap now in comparison to defence stats, and that mobility is on every single champion, so why shouldn't they gain something in compensation for that?

Either Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, or Ultraman.
