Duskblade.....really?

Does it seem like Duskblade is just a zed ult on a lot simpler scale?

yes. Hopefully this means zed now will be torn to pieces with nerfs as he has an item to build as his core to balance him out. And no longer has to have insane ult burst...

It seems like they just gave an execution item to all melee (as of now) AD champs. Wheres the other side (AP) comparative to this?

exactly the trouble... Pawnce, aJarvanIV top main, stated if things stay the same, he will definitively incorporate it to his build. So get ready for the nightfall meta -_-...

it gives enough AD of item 3072 and item 3812 for crap sake +75 is the highest AD item in the GAME (summoners rift only) item 3104 isn't on SR but gives 80AD

Um...Luden's is Literally this! lol Except you can proc it FAR more often.

except the fact that the passive rarely does any major damage, 100+(10% AP), say you are maxed out, get like 900 AP ok so it adds 190 damage, if youre going 1v1 against a ad champ and you both all in, duskblade is going to have far more of an impact, especially with the 2 second delay to improve the effect

No because you are either dead or your target is dead before it blows up. Immediate Burst>delayed burst.

This is why talon was FoTM back in mid S5 when it was the Anti-Zed meta.

Ever AD champ will need to be nerfed if they what there to be any point to ap at all. just think of Rengar or Talon

of course i agree, but Zed being the poster boy that everyone pins when you see it as a literal zed ult...

i think every AD champ can use this item, it really seems OP.

In a nutshell it is a Zed ult that is just triggered by an AA but here is the thing if you are a champ that relies on auto then it will be on cd most of the time. Now if you have a number of abilities that does damage and then you flash in for the auto then you are good, as it will get to do a bonus of all the health that is missing. So lets say Caitlyn is just poking her enemy down with her q and as the enemy is down to its last 300 health she uses an AA nightfall procs and kills her due to all the health she previously lost. I am currently trying to test this with Jayce since he has so many abilities to pop off before needing to land a AA. Wish me luck

I just played against a Duskblade Zed. Holy crap the burst. It's definitely going to get toned down.
