I'm curious what your thoughts are about them. At the moment we have only Varus and Jayce (and debatably Corki, although he builds AD and does primarily magic damage) played Mid. Do you think they're in a good place right now? Is this a champion archetype you support? Would you create more in the future?
I thought mages were AP, you know, ability power. Mage =/= attack damage so an AD mage can't be a thing.
Really there are a lot more ad casters. Yorick is a lot like the ones you listed and really others like renekton, pantheon, and riven are ad's who rely on abilities
Ezreal and Miss Fortune are also AD casters, though MF is not (often) played mid.
