If two players on opposite teams ban the same champion then one of them should have a chance to re-ban another. The player that locked in the ban second should have a chance to re-ban another champion. So that a ban is not wasted. It is much more efficient.

For example:

1 person from blue team banned Yasuo 1 person from red team banned Yasuo

The blue team locked in the ban first thus the player on red team gets to ban again.

Adds extra time to something super minor. Each person got their ban pick already and that's good enough. It's not like theyre playing for anything significant to waste more time in lobby

who cares, they both got the ban they wanted.

I like the fact that you can ban the same champ. Eliminates the problem of people banning champs at random for the sake of just having an extra ban.

I like how you used yasuo as an example. Maybe git gud and don't ban yasuo because he's not op. Or, be like the other scr00bs, and play into the "perma ban yas" meme and waste your ban on him.

The blue team locked in the ban first thus the player on red team gets to ban again.

So now my best strategy is to ban at the very last second possible hoping that if my ban gets doubled, I get the extra ban. See how that becomes a problem?

No. Its fine. In all the games ive played on the pbe and normals when 10 bans first came last week the most duplicated bans I've ever seen was 2. That's still 8 champion banned up from the original 6. There was ONE game where 3 bans were duplicated. One game out of many. Duplicates Will happen but you still got the champion you wanted banned to be banned. If dublicate bans bother you so much you could ban urgot every game.
