Morde depressing champ.

He has easily exploitable weaknesses and counter play.( not a bad thing just alot of stat sticks dont follow the same rules) He has easily definable hard counters. His 2 Damaging abilities cooldowns are very long. He is the only juggernaut with no in combat sustain. And piss poor out of combat sustain

The R stolen stats are useless power for the majority of the game and when it should be more effective its not due to being out scaled by ranged stat check champions.

High risk, low reward

I was expecting an upheaval with the champ but he loses to the same champions just harder.

AA stat sticks that can't be overcome with durability.

I personally dominate a majority of my games as Morde, he's actually a lot stronger then people realise.

Morde is about timing, if you throw your abilities out randomly you're going to get yourself killed 9x out fo 10.

His early game is kinda shit I've noticed, but he can still be a late game monster. Even if he does fall behind he still has his ult which is REALLY powerful for teamfights.

so the thing is if morde gets buffed he'll be op and if he getts nerfed he'll suck there's no middle ground. once again a failed rework

His 2 Damaging abilities cooldowns are very long.

I wouldn't really consider a 4 seconds cooldown on his Q as "very long". Also, quite some bit of his damage comes from his passive, which has no cooldown whatsoever and is permanent as long as Mordekaiser is fighting.

He is the only juggernaut with no in combat sustain.

To be correct, this statement isn't true. Urgot

Morde was one of my first mains back before he could get pet dragons and before Will of the Ancients was removed from the game. I haven't enjoyed playing Morde since he got reworked the first time. Back then, he was just as easily gankable but you had to fear fighting him with more than 1 melee champion. He actually got STRONGER vs more people who tried to pile on top of him in melee range because his shield would regen faster. Gone are the days when he had EPIC wave clear and could flash into a enemy team full of melee champions while being able to survive and deal tons of damage.

The original Morde would be a great answer to a lot of the frustrating Top Laners right now

The rework is fine, but his numbers became depressing after the nerfs. With depressing numbers he's not a threat, and if he's not a threat, his kit makes no sense. That's exactly the Pantheon issue right now. Imagine a Darius dealing as much damage as a Maokai; what would he be good for?

When you ult somebody as Mordekaiser, you're trapped with your opponent, and not otherwise.

I was 1v1ed by a non fed, ultless rumble in my death realm. He stood still with his flamethrower in my face, tanking all my damage. It was pathetic. That's when I decided to stop playing Mordekaiser.

his E is so terribly easy to dodge and it doesn't even slow if you land it [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Knkw what would make his R perfect! If it also forces champions into an un-interruptable 1v1 with very limited space. This way he get get those ranged stat check champions out of the fight for free!

Z3SIeeper9/1/2019, 4:56:14 AM1 votes

Just saying he's nearly an AA statstick too. Hell a ton of his success comes from whether or not he wins the trade of standing in their face with passive up.

Anyway, the rework just kinda became meh after all the nerfs.

I think they should increase the W potential shield uptime cuz right now he can't keep it from decaying in small increments between basic attack early on.

It takes 1 second for it to begin to fall off but like any other champion, Morde has less than 1.0 attack speed. Imo increase it to 1.5 or 2 seconds.

I miss his in combat shield passive letting him actually lane against ranged matchups fairly well. Now you're just stuck pressing W on cooldown for a 5hp heal because that's all the ability does against a ranged champ.

So now my fav champ is basically forced to be a toplaner unless i'm against a melee mid that can't poke/all in early (and there's not alot of those).
