FINALLY!!! Yasuo rework confirmed!

Looks pretty good! I might consider picking him up, but I suspect he'll be a hair under powered after the update.

I feel like this Yasuo rework doesn't capture his old self. Needs to strike a cocky pose, putting on shades, after every kill.
Passive: Needs to be up permanently. Yasuo is just way too squishy and vulnerable to CC.
Q: Why is there only 1 tornado initially? I understand it splits into 3, but it's a skillshot, c'mon. Start it out with 3 tornados, like TF's Wild Cards
W: Needs to be moving with him at all time instead of stationary. It is easily baited, making Yasuo squishy, so that ain't cool. He needs safety because he's melee, y'all.
E: Wards have been nerfed, so I feel that Yasuo needs to regain a trinket after every successful dash.
R: It has to lifesteal because incoming bloodthirsty demon sword lore update yada yada and also steals all of the opponents' gold because he's wanderin', homeless, and poor, y'all.

Nah, if they moved then he would be vulnerable to projectiles at his melee range, which would absolutely destroy his viability. However, I don't see the harm in adding a smaller 6th windwall that encircles him (it would overlap his hitbox obviously) so that they can make his windwalls moveable.
Also, his E still looks a little bit weak. Perhaps they should change its functionality so that it provides its own wards. Now, wards are useless because, seriously, who ever takes time to look at the minimap anyways (you can't make #MLGBigPlays on enemies outside your screen, so they don't matter), so I don't think it would be that strong.
Why have the dash be targeted at all? It severely limits his options. Just have it be a skillshot that moves him and damages everything he passes through.
Now I know what you are thinking, adding another skillshot to his already difficult kit will make him the hardest champ in the game by far, but we will reward players by having the dash damage have no CD per target now that it is a skillshot.
im not quite sure if hes joking or serious
Hasaki intensifies!
And you forgot his new dance: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GyA3FTRMGwE/VsDxlFp80CI/AAAAAAAAGEg/XNVXPkmX0h8/w426-h237/yasuo%2Bflute.gif
Honestly, I can't see the difference
Let's not forget the biggest change:
Yasuo: The Unforgiven ⇒ Yasuo: The Unforgivable
Passive: Like the wind, he is immune to all skillshots
He finally built a wind house with all those wind walls
yea but his wind house is on cooldown. message me back if u get that. xD
a wanderer is never lost, because his house has wind walls. Ba Dum Tss
Wrong Board, my man.
If Riot posts it as a Gameplay change, so can I.
Not on April Fool's Day.
OH THANK GOD THIS WAS POSTED ON APRIL FOOLS. I THOUGHT IT WAS SERIOUS.
If windwall does not critically strike he would suck
that's probably what they use for doombot yasuo
The only difference I noticed is the awful voice over.
It's just a different language.
It is?
I'd expect them posting videos made on the English version.
Ah, nevermind.
I thought it was the Japanese VO for a bit, but that Yasuo has a much deeper voice.
Probably just some rioter (not a voice actor) reading out the lines.
That's from Latin America btw. I've looked up the original source of the footage and it comes from the LAN server, not NA nor EU West (Spain).
lol I hate Yasuo but this cracked me up.
Good one Rito we had the Bots april fools joke now this. Damn Rito every year you make me laugh. Btw if you guys think this is real look at the date (1st Aril. A.K.A april fools day)
Btw if you guys think this is real look at the date (1st Aril. A.K.A april fools day)
Are you sure about that?
they wasted months on a map update for ARAM that only went through for 2 weeks
wouldn't be surprised
of course it was but they probably wasted actual effort making the champion like that on their development server separate from the PBE
I'm sure it was less work than you think it was. Plus it was apparently made by the LAN staff, which means it's even less derailed work.
maybe, but some of their explanations have involved that such "efforts" were a waste of money for particular projects.
as another thread pointed out, the employees integral to the game's development make roughly $50 an hour in terms of their contract compared to an hourly wage. If this took roughly 2 hours to make, that's $100 unless the employee voluntarily took the job without pay but it is a little upsetting that when they invest into their pranks, the investment is often not worth the trouble
I liked the draven day thing but it crashed multiple games and computers when it came out: for instance

Hypocrisy is their game after all.

If I didn't despise Riot for their politics and behaviour, I'd be asking "Where do I apply?".

Well, it took them ~30 hours to make an usable version of Magma Chamber 1v1/2v2 back in the day.
Yeah, it's super rough when Riot tries to have fun. I too think they should never ever try to do that at all.
i'm not against fun, i'm against that a lot of concerns by the players are ignored or the decisions riot makes are outright careless because they had already spent the time and money on a failed investment
or when they make a successful investment, it is often temporary
I remember that I liked the draven draven event, but to quote myself, "it looked like whoever did this used microsoft paint and pasted the image into the game code"
though that's irrelevant.
what I meant by the original comment was that instead of pasting images into the video, they probably hard-coded yasuo to behave that way to make the video
Was laughing my ass off for 3 mins as this was the first thing I saw in my Facebook this morning. This is coming from a Yauso main btw.
Also, he's still a bit underpowered with these changes. Can anybody suggest more ways on how to improve his reworked kit?
Confirms the funeral of the game
Saw the rework. Pretty sure that's just a visual of how it feels when he uses abilities.
Indeed. New passive should also dubble lifesteal.
I feel like this is the doombot yasuo...
this is april's first joke... why people believe it? god
but I suspect he'll be a hair under powered after the update.
A little reading comprehension makes it pretty clear I knew it was a joke when I posted it.
you'd have to be fcking retarded to believe this.
No, but you have to be one such in order to misrecognize an obvious joke on an obvious April's Fools prank.
Lol you tried WAY to hard and still failed.
My good sir, I'm not the one who managed to make a fool of myself by getting both the obvious parts of the opening post flying over my head. That's a remarkable feat you accomplished wholly on your own.
At least this time you managed proper sentence structure while trying hard to sound intelligent. If you'd like me to point it out to you I can. Define "April's" my good sir. April is* fools joke? Nice try hard though. Try harder next time.
april fools... you dolt
...Did you even read?
I suspect he'll be a hair under powered after the update.
I obviously knew it was an April Fool's joke and was going along with it.
