@Meddler Can you guys admit that you change the game just for the sake of changing it?

There's no way this game will ever be "balanced".

Has Riot ever come out and admitted that they keep changing stuff to keep people interested? I mean it's painfully obvious. Is this your official stance or would you like us to keep laboring under the misconception that you're striving for that sweet sweet true balance? Like one day years from now you will take 5 AD off a certain champ and a divine light will shine down from heaven, angelic trumpets will sound, and the booming voice of the Almighty will ring out with heraldic fury "That's enough boys...you've done it!" Then everyone at the Santa Monica campus will lose their earthly garments and float up to heaven naked.

Either way is fine with me, just want to know what the company line is.

They change the meta to keep the game fresh and new, if the meta stayed tank forever, the game would become dull quickly.

I think they've already said that.

They change the game each season to keep it 'fresh and new' or something along that line. They don't aim for a balance each season. They just pass the favor to another type of player; whether it be juggernauts, assassins, adcs mages etc.

they do change it for the sake of changing, if the meta stayed exactly the same the game would be painfully boring. Also the game will never be balanced to perfection because some champions just perform better than others

We don't change the rules to football every season to keep it fresh.

Abandon the idea that this is a sport.
