lichbane veigar, why not?

Had some fun with veigar yesterday...and jsut for the fun or it, build a lichbane as 6th luxury item.

well, after sorcerer shoes, DFG, deathcap, void staff and zhonya...at around 1000 AP, as i didnt really needed extra survability or anytings, so i give it a try.

The AP it give is nto bad,dbonus movespeed is welcome...and even trought veigar is not much of a auto attack hero. STILL, having a extra 500 damage (at 1000AP) to right click after combo DOES make a difference....

SO, lichbane as a 6th luxury item for veigar, yes or no?

By 6 items you are deleting the enemy carries anyways. You don't need more damage. You'd benefit more from a defensive item like banshee's veil.

oh yea you do delete him....but can still use the bonus damage on AA to jsut dele the suport or someone else (500+ damage aa with lichbane proc hurt) you can pretty mch jsut burst peopel down with jsut Q-AA at this point lol.

imo veigar dont get that band or a attack animation at all. problem is than W and E cooldown can be quite long...i font popping a fre Q and lichbane proc there and there not bad at all.

Sell your DFG once you reach the point where Q + lich AA deletes ppl.

Well Shushei plays his Veigar with Lichbane all the time, when he used to stream at least...

lichebane is core for veig imo. i usually go

sorc shoes > tear > lichebane > deathcap> archangels > situational defense item > situational utility item

if i get too much AP i sell deathcap for voidstaff

not always in that order but ya

With 1000 AP you can build what you please just like DrMundo .

However, there are items I like better on Veiggie for extra survivability/CDR/mana/utility rather than Lich Bane. It isn't bad, but his AA range isn't that good either, so I usually prefer something like Rylai's for some extra CC or Banshee's Veil for defense. Its not like Veigar lacks dmg, in fact, its what he least lacks, and that is the main reason why Lich Bane doesn't feel that great overall, unless you are really ahead. But, why not? I think it also allows him to push decently after a kill, which always helps, and lets Veigar become somewhat useful after his combo (which is usually the end of the show for him). So yeah, the way you build Veigar is somewhat up to you.
