@Riot Do you have any plans for Ahri in the next few patches?

So, I'm gonna say it right here: I KNOW AHRI IS GOOD IN SOLOQ. I've played her a ton, I understand why you guys don't like her. Her ult makes it near-impossible to kill her and if she snowballs she becomes unstoppable, I get it. Just, LISTEN TO MY QUESTION before you go and downvote, this isn't necessarily a post asking for an Ahri buff whatsoever. I'm just asking Riot about a champ's future, that's all. If it sounds like something else I apologize. (If you're in a hurry read tl;dr)

But to be serious, here's my question. Ahri hasn't been seriously changed since early Season 5, and right now she sits in an awkward position where, as a jack of all trades, either snowballs and becomes queen of the game or falls behind and gets outclassed by most midlaners. As it stands right now, she hasn't been picked competitively in any of the bigger regions, or if she has it's been extremely rare. She hasn't been picked in NA/EU LCS, Not in LCK, and I don't think shes been picked in LPL. I could go into a long explanation of why this is the case (tl;dr professionally-speaking Viktor/Azir/LeBlanc all fill her role better, plus trying to snowball on Ahri in a competitive game is probably really hard.), but since it doesn't apply to SoloQ things can get really finicky about how she is right now.

Main purpose of this post is that I'm just going to come out and ask if you guys have any slight tuneups for her status in the next few patches, especially since in the last State of the Season post you said that 6.15-6.18 would be more aimed towards how the competitive scene is playing out AND because you said that secondary assassins (Including Ahri) would probably not be touched during assassin update, which means that if she was to be changed before 6.18 it would have to be in the next few patches. So yeah, do you have any plans for her, perhaps to try and highlight more on her status as a kite mage?

**tl;dr I know Ahri is strong in SoloQ, but competitively speaking she's just completely invisible due to other midlaners, and I'm wondering if there are any changes over the next few patches (since she prob wont be touched in assassin update and because next few patches are focused on competitive atmosphere) that will have a substantial effect on her. I do NOT believe she needs serious buffs whatsoever. **

Edit: For some dumb reason the playing streak has been broken, GBM finally played Ahri in LCS and was essentially useless compared to Jensen's Taliyah. Not much is gonna happen from that because of how bad GBM is, but still shows how Taliyah can essentially outroam Ahri and neutralize her.

Obviously I'am not Riot, but I'd like to give my opinion in this anyway, since Ahri is my by far most played champion: I don't think it's possible to bring Ahri with her current kit into competetive play without some bigger changes. You said it yourself, she's a Jack-of-all-Trades but Master of None. Right now, there is no real reason to pick her, because for every department, there are Champs, that offer more. Want Waveclear? Get Viktor/Azir. Want Lategame-Hypercarry? Get Azir/Ryze. Want strong Teamfighting/CC? Get Lissandra. Want an Assasin? Get Leblanc/Kassadin. Ahri is also not really a champ, that is used as a counterpick, like Cassiopeia or Anivia, since she can do well in most Matchups, but doesn't really hardcounter any champs. Last time she got in competetive picked it was due to the fact, that she was an extremely safe blindpick who was going to do well in basically every Matchup, even against the "Counter" Leblanc, but they took that away with the change to her Charm, so right now, there is simply no reason to play her.

To change that it would require to "overtune" something of her kit; Waveclear, Assasination-Potential, CC, Damage. But if they did, she would isntantly become 100%-Ban in Solo-Q, where she, as you said, is doing quite good. Not OP, but a good and strong pick. Bringing back Ahri into Pro-Play without making her outright broken would therefore require quite alot changes to her kit as a whole in order to make her an interesting pick in Competetive without beeing completely broken for the "normal" people. But there are alot champions, that require attention much much more than Ahri right now, so yeah. I don't think, there is something that can be done right now.

To be honest, if anything I expect her to get just some more nerfs sooner or later, since she still seems to do very well in Solo-Q..

either snowballs and becomes queen of the game or falls behind and gets outclassed by most midlaners

Its been found that ahri actually doesn't do this. She actually has the opposite issue where doing bad early doesn't mean much because she's a jack of all trades.
