Downvote me all you like, I think the new Aatrox looks and sounds good, and will play well.

So those of your who know me know I'm a Malz main. However what few of you will know if I used to main Aatrox (jungle) pre his mini rework last season.

So I'm going to lay out some of the GOOD things about the new Aatrox and why anyone giving hate right now needs to think again. First off his Q. Yeah it's like riven Q. HOW DARE THEY! Lets just forget about thresh, blitz and pyke having basically the same abilities yeah? Screw that, Aatrox is a SWORDMASTER! Added to which his Q's are a great reflecting of skill, and are perfectly matched with his E.

Next, his sound effects... They sounds GREAT! Yes, even his voice, though different, isn't different in a bad way!

His Ult... Really? You preferred his old one? It has a fear, it increases his damage and speed, when he dies he can resurrect without it being on an overly large cooldown and as it's not a passive you can control when you want it up (Also note unless that video was VERY poorly produced, you can MOVE while resurrecting! On top of this the animation looks GREAT!

There is nothing unbalanced about this rework yet (still waiting on actual numbers!), nothing that's going to stop people that want to play him playing him, and nothing about his kit that says "He's just like x" unless you consider a single ability being similar to another champion EVERYTHING that matters (at which point I'll point you back to the 30 of so champions with similar abilities, especially passives!). He had and still has one of the most unique group of abilities in the game.

I for one can't wait to play him. He looks fantastic. GJ Riot.
