Just got autofilled adc. Never played a single game of adc in my life and told my team that. Nobody wanted to swap then they proceeded to flame the shit out of me because i suck. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL fucking game riot

I'm literally a onetrick LB - I was autofilled to bot a few times. I just flat refuse to play adc. I hover LB, I say "I will play literally any other role except jungle. I'm not playing ADC. If you force me to, we will lose."
Then someone offers to swap, usually support. If no one would offer to swap, I'd play LB bot lane and probably carry anyway.

I will point out that before dynamic queue was a thing, getting roles was based on your pick order in champ select. the lower you were, the less likely you were to get the role you wanted. Because of that, you had to be capable of playing every single role in Ranked.
This should not have changed, you should be competent at everything in order to play Ranked.
If you're going to play ranked, learn the basics of every role.
