Ranked Bans

For players that show little intent to improve or climb, by trolling/inting etc. What if instead of chat restricting these players we banned them from ranked?

Since this is not a perma ban and they can still play, these bans could occur with much less leniency, saying "KYS" 4 times automatically results in a temporary ranked ban. Intentionally feeding a game that can be proven systemically can issue a 5 day ranked ban that just grows. If a player does something to force the game to lose and is caught/proven. That player receives the ban. If a ban expires that player must have played at least X normal games before he can go back to ranked. If ever needed, a permanent ranked ban can be issued of course. Details can be worked out, but what about the concept?
