What do these five adcs all have in common? They are long range, hyper late game scalers. The only reason Jinx and Caitlyn aren't joining the previous three mentioned is because they have nerfs that keep them down, but honestly can still be played to the near same effectiveness. MOVING ON. How is it possible these three champions are the kings of our meta? They got no real buffs, to my memory Tristana even got nerfed, so why is it these three champions, are doing so damn good? Aren't they suppose to have a really bad early game where, early game champs like.

basically removes the entire flaws the three champions I said has. The four champions I listed are either super good about preventing deaths, or super good at being lane bullies. This heavily nullifies the early game these adcs h ave, and three of the champions I listed, even have abilities to empower the adcs. So now

If you can nullify the horrid early game late game adcs have, than mathmatically it is far better to play the late game adc, because you can get to your late game state much quicker, and scale way better once late game hits. so a 30 minute

Careful the support mains will be angry that you dared to blame their 100% balanced champions/items and not the big bully adcs.
Adc's damage alone is annoying and I feel too unforgiving and either does extremely well or falls flat. With shields and stuff their reign is abusive.

I don't think it's really great argumentation to dismiss one problem because another exists. League is a complex game, so while some problems are certainly larger than others, there is no sense in pinning everything onto a single one. In this case, for sure defensive support itemization is a major factor responsible for weaker burst, but so is defensive itemization on marksmen, life steal and GA being prime culprits here. Where marksmen do happen to cause problems, too, is with their own burst and overall damage output, which is too high. This is something enchanter itemization plays a part in (Ardent Censer still gives the equivalent of an item spike in the mid game to the marksman), but that cannot be exclusively linked to them. Addressing the problems with the current meta will therefore require updating enchanters and their itemization, but also doing the same to marksmen.
