It upsets me that this game has so much potential but it's ruined by its piss poor state.

The damage, mobility, and cdr creep. The infestation of reject mid-lane mages in the bot and top lane, with recently making his way into the support role. The ten-second team fights. The 'get hit by one cc-nuke and get full health combined'. Lack of item diversity. Towers being so squishy late game.

Look, you may not agree with some of the points I've made above, but something like 'mobile league of legends' is not what this game needs for its long term health.

I'm waiting for the 10 year anniversary so i can see what they planning for the preseason, If they are not fixing shit up I'm gonna call it quits.

I look forward to the New001 (aka One Patch Man, aka Good News Lee Sin) video where the words "we listened to your feedback" or some variation are used multiple times before announcing a bunch of shit nobody wanted (last time: positional ranks), nothing on shit people do actually want (fixing ranked, fixing toxicity response, fixing the client), and some bullshit about TFT.

Yes, I'm incredibly cynical at this point. I have no goodwill left for this company. If something people actually want isn't fucking fixed by the start of S10, I'm outta here. It's finally reached the point where my distrust/dislike of riot is overtaking my enjoyment of the game.

Well it's as I expected Garbage.

Drakes are too strong, alcoves are unnecessary, game is still really snowbally, damage, mobility, cdr creep and the list goes on.

I made a thread yesterday about 4 clouds and zed having 12.6 CD on his R.

And yes I unstalled league yesterday but if things are fixed I will be back but for now it's Un playable for me.

Heading out for good if season 10 continues this bullshit that has been going on for two years.

No skill expression, no team fights, just a braindead nuke fiesta.

The skill, is in the order of nuking, and the position of those nuked ;) Rito games 2019. /s Runes reforged was a bigger mistake than cc filled assassin support with gold generation and self healing came into someones mind.

Same. They say they didn't add more damage via Runes Reforged, but they forget old Runes and Masteries was a gateway, preventing stuff from becoming overbearing by having tradeoffs. Whats the one thing that every other page but resolve (aka the "tank" tree) lacks? Tradeoffs. Tanks lost their runes and masteries for a path that just does fuck all for them outside of if they have the power to abuse the golden ticket Aftershock. Even then Conq already counters it.

I mean nothing will change as long as jungle still sucks and 10% WR players are being matched with 80+% WR players 2 tiers higher then them in a ranked game

Riot so far has acknowledged the poor state of jungle (it’s actually #1 autofilled role now) but nothing in regards to the terrible degradation of the matchmaking system.

Didn't they already stated that scuttle will get a 'rework' where it would generate an item, gold, buff or whatever which is going to break the game because only early junglers/laners would be played.

The baron buff is quite strong. Unless your team is brainlessly wandering around after baron kill, u will easily break inhibs. There is no way to clear baron minions for the current meta champions. The only champs capable of resisting a baron push is Azir,Sivir and maybe varus and syndra. But that said...late game barons should be powerful enough to end the game. So a bit nerf on the early game baron buff can certainly help the comeback mechanics.

Hopefully in season 10 they bring back solo carrying, instead of the whole "Its a team game you need all 5 members to be able to win" meta. I dislike the current "burst the fed enemy instantly, then hope you dont die while cds are down" meta that just forces you to rely on teammates. I hate the super mobility cross map 1 shots like Camille and zoe etc meta. Hopefully they make laners and jgs require more skill and less of the game is decided by champion picks and positioning of teammates. I keep getting in games where people are 3/0 or 0/3 before the second minion wave spawns. Season 10 cant be worse than season 9. Rito, "Are you challenging me!" Crossing fingers [sg-soraka]

I don't get it, it's a thing now more than ever. A lane feeds, snowballs out of control and starts roaming and the game is lost. Why do you think surr at 15 is so popular now.

What people probably dream is late game galore, when champion like Jax used to play farmville, or like Yi that made camp in jungle to farm stacks and then solowin the game because they were too broken. Ah, stupid times

I can promise you its not a thing. Ive watched 20 kills players be brought to their knees with just 1 cc, the best solo carries are junglers that take over the map, and they win by making all the laners lose lane and then game come teamfights. SOLO carrying is no longer about "SOLO" carrying but forcing repeated 2v1s as killing your laner never makes him 2 weak to not win that 2v1 that would lead you to be shutdown and him back in the game (unless he is inting hard anything above 0/5 will still be viable). __ Solo carrying for a laner consists of A- enemy feeding you hard 3 deaths or more are a minimum. B- enemy jungler NEVER ganking you, or really messing a gank up and dying 1 or 2 times. C- entire enemy team not punishing or stopping you at all ever. D- the game to end. If all 4 of these dont work in unison (which all require the enemy to be bad and make a LOT of mistakes) you can't solo carry. You can only enable, and while that enabling can be massively impactful its no where near the "farming yi/devourer udyr" metas where you relied on your team not losing before 20 mins for you to come in and rek havoc. People ff 15 because their entire team sucks/they have terrible mentality and someone is willing to int hard just "to get to next game" and will single handedly lose the game for you just because they arent the carry. Think Tyler1 for instance, even after he reformed, he still tries to go hard every game, and if he gets camped its just him 0/9 by the end of the game. They make games unwinnable simply because they want to carry but arent allowed this game so they force a loss. This combined with bad mental already in league and the LACK OF SOLO CARRY potential leads to people just going K, lets ff 15, I CANT CARRY this draven, no matter what I do. FF 15 wouldnt exist if solo carrying was a thing, people would believe their skill could win, and then use that, but because its NOT a thing its a ff 15 meta.

I've been with this game for about 7 of those 10 years.

And right about every year, we had a large section of the playbase crowing about how the game's about to die, how it's in the worst state it's ever been in, how Riot only cares about the LCMoney, and all that sort of stuff.

I'm not saying that there isn't a kernel of truth to the above claims, or that it's all hysterical nonsense, but I feel that the Boards have kind of become an echo chamber of negativity where people vastly overblow the problems that the game has.

It's true that the game is in decline, and will probably eventually die without course correction, but it's not happening next year, and probably not happening within 5 years. I'd say that LoL can go on for about 10 more years like this before it completely shuts down, and I think that eventually things will get bad enough that Riot will be forced to get off their ass and do something to get more players onboard.

I mean, Blizzard released World of Warcraft Classic after years of claiming that nobody wanted it. Things as big as LoL don't just wind up dead the next day.

Lol is different type of beast. Im not going to predict why when of how can lol die but he is going down the path of volatile mobile games and there one hype product can ruin you.

That's what happens when Riot basically abandons the boards. Here we get basically the Meddler dev posts, announcements, with the vast majority of Rioter action happening in SA&S. Hell, go look at the red tracker, there hasn't been a single post in about a week.

well swain always functioned as a support since his rework now he functions as an adc replacement as well because he got wave clear

he is still only viable with a setup as his own setup is unreliable

also it makes or breaks it " FOR YOU " stop feeling so important that your opinion applies to the majority

you can play champions with many different builds and setups swain currently functions in 4 roles and has the following runes viable: conq, fleet, ele, dh, phase rush, grasp, aftershock, glacial

every rune setup changes the items you should prioritize

if thats not enough diversity i don't think you will ever be happy

This games a walking corpse. It's literally just waiting for another strong pvp game with good spectator value to come out, then everyone will jump ship.

Game quality decreased massively with the balancing issues and other such changes, simply because as you drop in playerbase it becomes harder to match games appropriately. And the problem just compounds itself. So once the death starts, the game will become unplayable.

The problem with the developers never growing out of being an indie company, and just having massive management issues that only ever made since when they were new.

You forced to recall to avoid getting killed? Too bad now he gets a bunch of gold from plates.

You lost midgame, and they got all the dragons? Yeah those buffs lasts FOREVER. Now even on full build they are at an advantage.

You think you can survive under turret? Flash news! You don't. At lvl3 you can be dived in 1v3, or 2v4. If mid wins, and can roam, then even under turret you aren't safe.

You might not like the direction this game is going, and belive me neither do I, but there are enough people who apparently do or atleast don't care, especially in asia, so i fear they actually can continue on that horrible path they've chosen quit well...
