Season 10 will suck like Season 9 did ... here is why

Season 10 is around the Corner and with the Map changed introduced it is time to take a look at the upcoming season.

So here is what is fixed or getting better

  • Spear of Shojin removed ... thumbs up ... this should have happened months ago

So here is what will not be changed and why Season 10 will still suck

  • nothing done about dmg creep and oneshot meta
  • nothing done about snowballing
  • nothing done about turret platings giving gold
  • xp changes in Toplane will have no effect on toplane having no impact
  • tanks are still useless
  • nothing done about tank and mage itemization
  • MATCHMAKING STILL horrible ... let me wait more than 60 seconds to give me a decent game instead of having a minute queue and a 15 minute garbage game
  • nothing about events not just stupid useless season passes

The jsut put it on cloud drake and made it team wide so it is even worse.

so basically, the things that casuals were complaining about still exist because they are the game and always have been. yes? yes.

Mountain drake swapped its bonus to objectives to bonus resistances, so tower will last a bit more and so does laners. Ocean drake lost its mana regen, that's another indirect nerf to damages and laners who, with only 1 ocean drake could stay on lane forever.

nothing done about snowballing

Elder drake is not bound to drakes anymore so if the losing team gets it it could lead to a comeback. To be honnest I like snowballing, because what's the point of winning the early/mid game if you can randomly lose in late ? (And I say that as a veigar main).

nothing done about turret platings giving gold

This allow non assassins to force their assassin opponent to at least stay a bit on the lane and prevents them from roaming h24, that's good.

xp changes in Toplane will have no effect on toplane having no impact

XP is important, you will get more done with a good TP bot since you will be even more ahead in levels than the ennemy botlane and the ennemy jungler will be less of a threat since you'll outlevel him as well.

tanks are still useless

Conqueror true damages removed, more XP for toplane, aftershock will be buffed for tanks and nerfed for carry, the mountain drake gives additionnal resistances Well I already think tanks are far from being useless.

What's the problem exactly ?

MATCHMAKING STILL horrible ... let me wait more than 60 seconds to give me a decent game instead of having a minute queue and a 15 minute garbage game

Strange I'm waiting 3 to 4 minuts and I'm getting balanced matches, it may be because of the end of season smurfs or people who tries to climb gold when they didnt play ranked in the whole year ?

Hey there!

  • About dmg creep and oneshot meta, I feel like only if you feed will you be looking at oneshot. And there are ways to counter-attack a champion who seems to have oneshot! One of them includes simply banning them during the banning phase!

  • Snowballing... Be more a little specific with this and discussion will be given! The more detail the better and provide an example too!

  • XP changes?.. hmm not sure about that one but do a little observing and math and we'll see!

  • tanks? One shift into the tank area and you'll be whining "sHyVaNa tOo TaNkY!" in game or in the discussion board

  • matchmaking horrible? the wait time is okay.... in fact its quicker... check your region and your lane pick! that changes time rates!

All I can say is, though your phrasing might seem blunt and devoid of detail to some, I can't find any flaws in your statements. From what I can tell, pretty much everything you've said here is looking to be true. I mean they claim to have done something about snowballing but... When you sit down and think about the math, it's not really going to help a whole lot. Especially since, as you say, turret plating still gives gold.

To be honest, I say leave turret plating on the outer turrets permanently. No gold, no time limit, just... Put them there. That way the losing lane has a fighting chance of keeping things even in the early game, and if they fail, they don't give that much more snowball to the winning lane.

Edit: That one guy who downvoted the thread must've hit me too. I swear there's gremlins in my account code or something.

Add Conq's True Dmg removal to the thumbs up section, should also have happened months ago, but I'll take late over never....

I do also like how you say Plating Gold Rewards are an issue, not just plates; far too many people seem unable to separate them

Ironically, more xp for solo laners might do the game a lot of good...if everyone starts playing tanks mid...which probably won't happen for the first 6 months of the season if ever. [sona-playing]
