Kindred's the name of Lamb and Wolf together. Lamb is the female, Wolf is the male. So, Kindred is a they.
Seriously though I'd love a new Kindred skin, but there are champ out there even more destitute.

Their issue with Kindred is a skin would require an above-average amount of work, given that it would require designs and effects for both Lamb and Wolf. Add on that Kindred is a Champion that probably has limited popularity (and by extension, sales), and the end result is that it's just not high on their priority list.
If only they cared enough to release Elderwood Kindred earlier this year, literally the perfect skin line for this champion. With the luck of underplayed champions it'll probably be another bullshit skin like Super Galaxy, a line that the Kindred doesn't fit in whatsoever but they just throw them in with no effort.

According to the leaks, which have all proven true, kindred is getting a bloodmoon skin soon. As for their reason as to not making skins, why would they make a skin for a champion which will make them almost no money and please a handful of players more often than a popular champion which has a bigger player base and will make them more money? More popular champion getting skins pleases more people and makes more money. Simple and reasonable.
I would love to see a new Kindred skin but even I'm probably sure i wont buy it because I barely play as them And my guess is that they're in the same case as Taliyah. (Very vocal fan-base, but a player-base so small it doesn't even matter.)

As much as I hate to say it... Riot doesn't give a single fuck how long it's been since a champion got their last skin. All they care about is what makes the most money. It's why champions like Lux, Ezreal, Miss Fortune and Ahri have over 10 skins.
Ornn, Nautilus, Skarner, Kindred, and even Taric aren't popular. I mean, Kled has to wait for 2 years before he got one, and even then it was a half assed halloween skin. That's it! So I won't be surprised of many of these don't see a new skin for another year, while riot continues to cater to champions that have done well for them. Lee sin is getting his 10th skin (it's a 2 parter, both Dawnbringer and Nightbringer) and Nidalee is also getting her 10th with the upcoming Dawnbringer. Also who's excited for another Karma skin? Not me. Fuck that champion.
But Soraka's getting some sick skins, and she's my favorite champion, so I'm happy for that. Still annoyed about the massive favoritism Riot shows for their champions. They don't even try to hide it either.
