And go beyond any reason to defend their freelo champ but the amount of salty Ahri mains who appear in my threads to tell me "honestly Ahri is useless..." is more that ridiculous. Can you people even say that with a straight face? I mean I get that you don't wanna admit she is freelo but honestly, trying to tell anyone a champion who has a 53%+ winrate and 10%+ pickrate for 18 months straight is useless just warrants a ban from this section of the baords.

Have you seen Ekko? And other champions that get regular complaints? They usually get those complaints for a reason.

One time I remember checking up Ekko and he was sitting >54% win and >20% picked-or-banned rate.

Also, has it really been 18 months? Somehow I doubt it, but huh.

So from my understanding, you want to nerf a champion sitting at a steady 51-54% winrate for a long time without being overbearingly OP because she doesn't deserve to be winning?

You're basically asking to nerf a reliable champion because they've been too consistent for too long...exactly what the balance team should be trying to accomplish for every champion (ideally anyways)

The reason no one takes these threads seriously, is because if you disagree with op you must be an ahri main.

Ahri is a rather safe champ. She can be tough to kill. But she's not op because of that.

Her Mana costs are a little high for a full rotation, and her Mana pool a little low. She can't mindlessly spam all game. Later maybe but not early mid. She has to be in very dangerous range for the bulk of her damage, and she is very squishy, if she gets caught she's dead.

Her "high" winrate, and 53% is floating pretty close to 50%, is because she's hard to kill, and not dying often > then kills.

Look further at her numbers, damage done, kill averages, they aren't anything spectacular.

Being mobile and hard to lock down is hardly op.

Yes, he's over-stating things a bit much, and I haven't seen an "Ahri is weak" thread in a while...but a lot of Ahri players are notorious for claiming that she's weak with a 53% winrate, despite having a very high pick rate.

That said, I think she's one of the lesser problems atm. The blatant outliers need to be addressed first and foremost. Ahri is not one of them, IMO. Hell, I'd say address champions at the bottom of the barrel before touching Ahri.

I don't even play her. I don't think she's a big problem atm. She has a high winrate for some of the same reasons Janna always does.
